@QuetzalPhoenix It's okay. The flaws are too many to say it's better than Fullmetal Alchemist. Too many characters, not enough characterization, yet somehow too much dialogue, incredibly slow pacing. Accidentally skipped an episode and didn't realize because nothing actually happened in it.
@OfAthenry I once went to a laundromat and there was an old Mexican woman taking up an entire row of top loaded washers, which is not strange, but she then proceeded to open the washers in the middle of the cycle so that they could "soak properly" for an extra half hour
It is fucking insane how many people are actually celebrating Charlie Kirk's death. I know it's all facetious Internet culture but it is disturbing nonetheless. To me it's pretty obvious that it's sensational leftist politics that fantasize about violence yet claim to be "good"
@QuetzalPhoenix What did you notice, Carlos? Is it the charming innocence of nature? The innocuous relaxed composure? The unfettered relationship between humans and other animals? Simply putting human clothing a smaller juvenile creature? I like them all.
@SinnyBd I have no idea what any of this means I recognize Goku and Vegeta and all the other words are nonsense is this what they wrote after Akira Toriyama died it's ridiculous
@linkfan1954@SteveRudzinski@HoshiNoCosmo Those films were all from decades ago. The trend I was noticing was about how recent ones are not willing to show such violence towards children.
@PrinnyWesker@AlemDjedovic@MU5TK1LLZ0MB13S@SteveRudzinski@HoshiNoCosmo Yeah it's this sentiment exactly. I don't know if I'm just old and out of touch but I notice that people who type exactly like "bro you are dumb ππ" never have anything worth saying or are willing to engage in actual conversation. Are they bots?
@Sovann_Jahlee @HoshiNoCosmo Which characters? One child's blood covered book shows up. One child gets skewered into a fence but the camera pans to the other side of the fence before it happens, one child gets swallowed whole.
@MU5TK1LLZ0MB13S@SteveRudzinski@HoshiNoCosmo I literally stated my reason for being disappointed. Why do you keep saying such statements? I would appreciate actual conversation or discourse but you seem to just want to say nothing coupled with emojis over and over.
@roseboy20_01@HoshiNoCosmo I appreciate the input. That movie was 7 years ago so it's probably outside the time frame of when I noticed the trend, specifically when Terrifier 3 was released, and I suppose Terrifier 2 when Art is alone with an unconscious child and only nibbles him a bit .
@Jeremia44962820@HoshiNoCosmo That's understandable but it's just WEIRD when the adults die horrific deaths anyway. It's so common that the lack of child violence makes me think of some crazy conspiracy wherein child gore is specifically de-incentivised by film unions or something similar
@MU5TK1LLZ0MB13S@SteveRudzinski@HoshiNoCosmo What do you mean? I said it word-for-word in my post. It's completely absent or intentionally obscured violence, but there is no such nuance when it happens to adults. It's simply strange that it's so obfuscated for children.
@DELETEDPAGE8393@HoshiNoCosmo I remember being disappointed when Terrifier 3 was advertised as lots of child gore but there are just pre-dismembered body parts in a bed and an explosion in a mall after which all the kids are dead but that's still not visceral gore
