Someone Called 911 on Two Brothers’ Lemonade Stand — Police & Firefighters Showed Up as Customers and Became Their Advertising Agency!
In Kansas City, Kansas, young brothers Jakahi and Perez Reese set up their lemonade and Kool-Aid stand at 33rd and Webster. A neighbour called 911 to complain. Instead of trouble, Kansas City Kansas police officers and firefighters arrived — as customers.
They bought out $280 worth of drinks in 30 minutes, showered the boys with stickers and support, and actively advertised the stand to the community.
The brothers have sold for years to support their family, help the homeless, and save for things like an e-bike. Officers even returned the next day for more.
A beautiful story of community turning a complaint into a big boost.

What if these guys end up being fully healthy and really good this season?
DaRon Bland
Shavon Revel Jr.
Donovan Ezeiruaku
DeMarvion Overshown
Add them to Quinnen Williams and Caleb Downs, and dare we say that the Cowboys have some legit playmakers on defense?
Some observations from today's #Cowboys OTA session that was open to the media:
(NOTE: During some portions of practice, the media had a restricted view as the team worked red zone on the opposite so of the field, so couldn't see everything)
- LB DeMarvion Overshown was absent from practice as he's getting married this weekend. With Overshown gone, the first-team linebackers included Dee Winters and Shemar James. Justin Barron and Curstin Robinson got second-team reps.
- Lots of redzone work for the offense. During it, saw Dak Prescott throw six touchdowns. Saw five of them, which went to Ryan Flournoy, CeeDee Lamb across the middle, Phil Mafah, another to Lamb and Jake Ferguson. To my knowledge he was not intercepted.
- Joe Milton was the second QB to get reps in practice today. Saw Sam Howell throw a touchdown to Jordan Hudson.
- With Jalen Thompson working with Britt Brown and the rehab group, Malik Hooker and P.J. Locke were the first-team safeties. Markquese Bell, Alijah Clark and Zion Childress got second-team work.
- Rookie Caleb Downs and Cobie Durant both took first-team reps at slot corner. Durant also took outside corner reps and played slot corner with the second-team as well.
- Shavon Revel and Caelan Carson both got first-team reps at outside corner. Saw Derion Kendrick, Devin Moore, Trikweze Bridges and Corey Ballentine get second-team reps.
- With George Pickens not in attendance, the first-team WR rollout most commonly consisted of CeeDee Lamb, Ryan Flournoy and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
- Dak Prescott got some extra work afterwards in with Ryan Flournoy, Jaydon Blue, Jordan Hudson and Romello Brinson.
@JasonMyer@omoelerinjare1 Not just Colorado, should be everywhere. Betcha loser has a record and didn't give up his prints or ID stuff because he knew it would show a pattern of behavior. And possibly make the charges worse or at least his punishment for the charges.
Now official: #Cowboys first-round pick Malachi Lawrence has signed his four-year, $20.22 million rookie deal.
All seven of Dallas' 2026 NFL Draft picks are now under contract.

Shavon Revel Jr. was on the practice field donning a new number (28) and no longer with a brace on his left leg. Looked more fluid in his movement as a result and has gained a lot of confidence this offseason now that he's returning to 100-percent.
