The Adama Maneuver in Battlestar Galactica is one of the coolest sci-fi TV moments. Dropping a battleship through a planet’s atmosphere for a midair fighter launch was already insane on paper, then the show somehow made it feel grounded & epic all at once
I watched this segment air for the first time in real time and could *not* stop laughing along with her. Just. The pure unadulterated truth of the matter at hand. We need more of these Pa regrets only - spoken honestly and plainly plz. THIS is the swing state I know and love.
Reporter: If you could say something to Trump, what would it be?
PA voter: You’re a worthless pile of sh*t.
Reporter: How many times did you vote for him?
PA voter: 3 times. That was my bad. Apparently I’m an idiot.

In place of a Dark Lord, you would have a queen! Not dark, but beautiful and terrible as the dawn! Treacherous as the sea! Stronger than the foundations of the earth! All shall love me, and despair!
This exchange just happened on the Senate floor.
Cornyn: “I don’t understand how the SAVE Act disenfranchises voters.”
Durbin: “Happy to explain. Driver’s licenses don’t qualify under the bill. 50% of Americans don’t have passports.”
Cornyn: “Why not just amend it?”
Durbin: “When’s the last time the Senate actually amended a bill?”
Silence.
The SAVE Act requires passport-level documentation to register to vote.
50% of Americans don’t have a passport.
The people least likely to have passports: the elderly, the poor, rural Americans, young first-time voters.
The people most likely to have passports: wealthy Americans.
This is not voter protection.
This is voter selection.
And when a senator suggested fixing it — his own colleague couldn’t name the last time the Senate amended anything.
That’s the Senate in 2026.

The REAL problem with house of the dragon was it not including Otto releasing 100 cats into the red keep after Aegon kills the rat catchers, inadvertently resulting in the death of Ned Stark 180 years later
Judy Garland came into my life, like many, through entertainment— but she stays in my life because of her story. We know all too well, the toll that fame took from her. Looking back, we can see more clearly the many factors that played a part in her storied life.
I know people know me for impressions and imitations— but I’m thrilled for this chance to explore beyond the laughter and into the heart of why we still think so much about Judy today. Her tale is one that we can’t forget, especially as women in entertainment are *still fighting for autonomy and agency in their own careers. I’m ready to bring new aspects of her story to the stage, and to share what I find so tragically beautiful about her life, with my UK audiences.
