From my family to yours, I wish you a very happy Christmas.
This is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Christmas story, and the Christian values that define it.
Letโs look forward and celebrate the joy and hope that Christmas brings.
Last night, I am proud to have voted for the biggest upgrade to rights at work in a generation. From guaranteed hours, more family friendly rights, and a ban on fire and rehire, the Employment Rights Bill is going to make work pay.
So, whatโs next for the Bill?๐ @labourunionsuk
First three points of the season! ๐ช
@RedditchUtd 1โ0 Stratford Town โ Alex Cameronโs header before half-time sealed it. Grit and a clean sheet! ๐ดโช
Well done to Mike & the team for bouncing back ๐
Thanks to all who came to my Batchley surgery before the game!
Thank you to everyone who came along to my Batchley constituency surgery this evening โ really valuable conversations and a great chance to hear from residents directly.
If youโd like to book an appointment at one of my upcoming surgeries, please get in touch with my team. ๐ฉ
I spent a lovely evening with The REDI Centre youth club. Making paper plans and bracelets, & playing Twister. Although Iโm getting far too old for the latter ๐ด
Remember that the under-14s youth club runs every Thursday at the centre, and older children are welcome on Mondays.
AMAZING NEWS ๐๏ธ ๐ฅณ - weโve managed to get the UK ๐ฌ๐ง Government to agree to a debate on Diabetes in Sport on September the 3rd - Which I believe is the first time ever the government has spoken on this subject.
But we need your support so please watch & raise awareness ๐
A lot can happen in a year with Labour! ๐ฌ๐ง
โ 4m extra NHS appointments
โ GB Energy set up
โ Wages boosted
โ Breakfast clubs rolling out
โ More affordable homes
โ Rail back in public hands
โ Defence spending up
Real change for Redditch & the Villages โ more to come! ๐ช
Typing this just before my constituency surgery in Harvington. A year in, itโs still an honour every single day to listen, help and fight for you. From housing to healthcare, skills to schools โ every issue matters. Thank you for putting your trust in me. Hereโs to another year.
My Friday began at Elgar House GP Surgery. Delighted theyโll soon unlock government funding for more clinical space โ meaning 30 extra appointments every day. Talked parking headaches and thanked the brilliant reception, admin & management teams who keep our NHS running.
Meeting and talking to Veterans across the country is so important to understand the feeling at the grass roots level, see whatโs working and what isnโt. Lots of change to come. Thank you to all those that took time out to tell me their remarkable stories, and thank you to all those that stand up for Veterans @ChrisBloore.
Today I met with local police, knife crime campaigners, and community leaders, including PCC John Campion, to tackle concerns about knife crime in Redditch. We're focused on prevention, supporting youth services, and working together to make our streets safer for everyone.
Great evening at St Stephen's Church for the schools Christmas carol concert, all the children from all the schools were fantastic, with Mayor of Redditch Cllr @BTanzina, @JosephBaker1227 and Clr @MagpieMon . Thank you.
What an unbelievable person Anthony Gordon is. To remember that in one of the biggest moments of his career just shows how much he truly cares. Lovely gesture. โค๏ธ #NUFC
