Shiva Sutras says the entire world is one’s own body. “Drsyam Shariram”. There is only one Supreme Energy, that we refer to as GOD or SHIVA, and we are all part of it. Everything in the world is interconnected and is part of this Supreme Being.
Beautiful..!
‘OM Namah Shivaya’ - salutations to Supreme Shiva. This mantra consists of 7 syllables- Om, Na, ma, h, Shi, va, ya. Each of these 7 syllables stimulates one of the 7 chakras, and thereby raises our consciousness.
One big mistake that people have been making since centuries- judging religious/spiritual men by their appearance. Stop doing that. Not everyone who wears saffron/white robe is a saint. GOD doesn’t care about your clothes- he cares about purity of your heart. Someone in jeans/modern clothing maybe deeply spiritual, devoted. Character, humility & compassion reveal the spiritual person, not their clothes.
Religions biggest disagreement is over GOD- whose GOD is bigger & more Real. But actually this disagreement isn’t over GOD, but over the names we’ve given to what cannot be contained by any name? The truth was never divided.
We divided it.
On social media it’s now Viral vs Value. As most people are chasing virality, and handful of few want to be valuable. Virality feeds the algorithm, value feeds humanity, and in the long term- it’s always about value.
What’s the point of building more advanced technology, sending rockets to space, finding life on other planets, when all we are raising is a generation that is so depressed, anxious, unhappy, confused. Finding out answers to their problems is more important than anything else.
It’s easy to worship SHIVA as a deity, supreme, but it’s very difficult to make Him a Guru. As a deity he may shower you with all that you ask for in material world, but as a Guru, He’s a tough taskmaster- will transform you, but that will require destruction of your older self.
You can smell the difference between someone who went through awakening and lived it and someone who’s selling it. One has silence in their eyes, the other one will have a link to sell a course or sadhana or meditation in their bio.
Meditation isn’t the opposite of medicine. It’s our inner medicine that we don’t give much weightage to. It’s a practice that quietly regulates the nervous system, sharpens attention, and settles the mind.
