These deliberate attempts to impose vegetarianism as a religious duty on Hindus need to stop. Hindus from many regions, not just Bengal eat non-veg during Durga Puja/Dusshera. We need to celebrate and be proud of our Shakta traditions.

Even older Vedic and Dharmaśāstra traditions contain both animal sacrifice and ritual consumption of meat.

What a waste of time on non-issues when there are so many more pressing existential crises facing Hindus.
