Revelation Background
1. The first Surah of the Quran sequence-wise is “Surah Al Fateha
سورة الفاتحة, The Opening Surah”.
A. And surely, We (Allah) gave you, O Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, seven from the often-repeated سَبْعًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْمَثَانِى Aya and the Quran great, Aya 15:87, referring to Surah Al Fateha, Hadith Bukhari 5006.
B. Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him called it the “Greatest Surah of the Quran”, Hadith Bukhari 5006.
C. Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said: 'By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! The like of this Surah has not been revealed in the Thauraat, not in the Injeel, not in the Zabur, not in the Furqan. It is the seven oft-repeated, and the Magnificent Qur'an which I was given.'"
Hadith Tirmidhī 2875
D.. No prayer is valid without Surah Al Fateha, Hadith Bukhari 757, Hadith Muslim 394.
2. The word “الْحَمْدُ” means praise.
Many people love to be praised even for what they did not do, Aya 3:188.
“All praise is Only for Allah the Lord of Universes, الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ” Aya 1:1.
3. The word “رَبِّ” means Owner, Caretaker, Creator, Provider, Sustainer, Nourisher. Usually translated as “Lord”
a word to be understood as representing all those meanings when the word Lord is used for Allah.
4. The word “الْعَالَمِينَ” means worlds, universes, like angels, Jinn, Humans, animals, plants, stars, planet and others. They all having a world or universe of their own.
Allah is the Only Owner of All that existed, now exists or will ever exist.
5. The word “الرَّحْمَٰنِ” means the Most Merciful, Merciful for all, Always Merciful, Most Beneficent, Most Compassionate, Most Kind, Most Gracious.
The word “الرَّحِيمِ” means Most Merciful, All Merciful, Ever-Merciful.
6. The word “إِيَّاكَ” only for you, specifically for you, exclusively for you.
7. The word “مَالِكِ” means owner, another recitation of this word is is “ملک” which means “king”. Allah is the Owner and the King of the Day of Resurrection.
8. The phrase “يَوْمِ الدِّينِ” means the Day of religion, the Day of accounts, the Day of Judgement, the day of Resurrection. The day of reward. and recompense.
9. The word “نَعْبُدُ” means we worship. The word worship or الْعِبَادَةُ means to do what Allah likes and orders.
No one is worthy of worship except Allah.
10. The word “نَسْتَعِينُ” we ask help, we seek help, we seek assistance.
Asking help from Allah (دعا, prayer) is the worship الْعِبَادَةُ, Hadith Tirmidhi 3372 .
Only Allah is to be asked for help in prayer. Asking anyone for help in prayers and absentia is Shirk شرک or making partners with Allah.
Asking a living person to give you some help in the real life is not shirk شرک, but the order of Allah to help each other in good deeds and piety, Aya 5:2.

Aya 1:1
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
(I begin) On (with, in) the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent (Kind), the Most Merciful.
Aya 1:2
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
(All) The praise is (only) for Allah, the Lord (Owner, Caretaker, Supreme Authority) of the universes (everything, everywhere, ever).
Aya 1:3
الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
The Most Beneficent (Kind), the Most Merciful.
Aya 1:4
مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
The (Only) Owner (King) of the Day of Deen (Day of religion, Day of rewards and recompense, Day of Judgement and Justice).
Aya 1:5
إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ
Only You (O Allah) we worship, and Only You (O Allah) we ask for help

Quran: Blessings and Reflections
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent (Kind), the Most Merciful.
Quran, the ultimate guidance from Allah, revealed to Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the ultimate charter of success, peace and security, here in this world and in the hereafter, for humans and Jinns.
All concept mentioned in the Quran are blessings for all. Many of these blessed concepts and narratives are for a common person in simple language. They are easy to understand for getting guidance.
A.
فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَـٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ
بِهِۦ قَوْمًۭا لُّدًّۭا
Surely that, We (Allah) made it (the Quran) easy on your tongue (O Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him!, for you to give good news with this Quran to the pious people and for you to warn with this Quran a hostile and fighting nation, Aya 19:97.
B.
فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
So surely that We (Allah) made it (this Quran) easy on your tongue (Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him), perhaps they (people) will take the remembrance, Aya 44:58.
C.
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍۢ
And surely We (Allah) made the Quran easy for taking remembrance, so is there any one seeker of the remembrance, Aya 54:17.
This Aya is repeated 5 times in Surah Al Qamar (Quran 54).
It is an invitation to come and understand this easy message of Allah.
D. The Quran, made easy by Allah, must be understood, pondered upon for guidance.
كِتَابٌ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَارَكٌ لِيَدَّبَّرُوا آيَاتِهِ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ
The book (Quran) We (Allah) revealed towards you (O Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him), for they (people) to reflect (think, ponder) its verse a and for to take remembrance, the owner of wit (intelligence and understand), Aya 38:29.
E.
أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ أَمْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَا
So, do they not ponder (think deep about) the Quran, or on their hearts are its locks? Aya 47:24.
F. Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:
خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ
The best of you is the one who learned the Quran and taught it to others

G Many sectarian enthusiasts will stop people from reading Quran with translation, citing false reasons and interpretations.
Some of those interpretations are personal opinions and some may be distorting the meanings of Quran (معنوی تحریف).
H. We must read, understand the meanings and think deeply about the verses of the Quran, the ultimate source of guidance from Allah.
