Every time you hear about a new proposed law criminalizing something & wonder how to feel about it, know this: A) Theres likely already another law to punish the behavior instead of help & B) it will near-always be enforced against Black people. Oppose it w/ everything youve got.

Deferred dispos are not being used enough to resolve cases in creative ways. Pros districts (ahem, District V) should start using deferreds to further justice & move their dockets (they have 100% more cases this year than last year, highest in the State!).
