We’re heading to the NC General Assembly to advocate for smart, responsible investments in North Carolina’s land and water. Conservation protects private property rights, strengthens local economies, and preserves our way of life. Follow along for updates!

Ever wonder where the fish in GRSM go in the winter?
The fish pictured is a brook trout. In the wintertime, some of the stream's temperature will drop too low for the brook trout to survive. Brook trout will migrate to slightly warmer, deeper waters to keep them insulated.
It's the job of the land trust to ensure that the conservation values of easements are kept intact - forever. Glad that our friends at @BRConservancy were successful in their efforts!
