@riddhi_builds There’s a difference between a code that does what you want it to do, and a code that does it well; and a code that is scalable.. learn the engineering behind.. a business depends on the last one, learn the engineering behind..
@riddhi_builds I’m a vibe coder transitioning in to engineering… I like your content because I’m learning a lot. Vibe coding doesn’t build sustainable apps..
@Siviwe_G Minister I have created a South African education platform designed to reduce teachers’ administrative workload, automate curriculum planning & tracking, and strengthen CAPS delivery. Less paperwork, more teaching. I’d welcome an opportunity to demonstrate its potential.
Experience will. Sooner or later one realises that building an application that works is not enough. You have to ask yourself; does it work correctly? Can it behave the same way when there’s 10M users? That’s where the engineering comes in…
@omgtiffanie Y’all see us “always following Thabo” and assume a power struggle. Mean time to us Thabo is the guy who always has a plan. Influence shifts naturally amongst male friendships. The funny guy may dominate conversations and The monied guy doesn’t alway get to decide where we go.
@getberth Does Berth support custom PostgreSQL RLS policies and secured RPCs with caller-level authorization, or would I need to handle most of that through privileged server functions? Also, are there plans for regional hosting outside the US?
Builders and software engineers, what are you using as an alternative to Supabase?
I’m building platforms that require secure authentication, complex databases, role-based access control and scalability.
I’m exploring alternatives. What would you recommend, and why?
@getberth I went through Berth's documentation. Interesting platform. One concern: my applications have complex multi-tenant RBAC, with school, district and provincial access boundaries, plus transactional approval workflows.
