In all of this, Matter TA is to be blamed. You’ve been in the industry for a long time, you’ve evolved, and yes I know clout matters but this isn’t a good look on you.

Using TikTok influencers in your film isn’t a bad strategy, but have a clear contract. Tell them to get a lawyer and actually read it. Don’t treat it like you’re doing them a favor or giving them a platform, it’s a job, so when situations like this come up, you meet in court, not online.

And honestly, that Kidbaby role wasn’t needed at all in Alakada Bad and Boujee. I get it, maybe it was for the trend. Just hope she doesn’t come out later to drag TA too.

Abike sugar has come out to clear the air on what actually transpired between her and toyin Abraham

She said before she met toyin Abraham she had been working with scene one on Jenifa’s dairy.

She said the first ever movie she shot with toyin Abraham as a lead role she was paid 50000 naira.

She also said that at the time of ijakuomo,funke akindele’s team had reached her to her for a promotional shoot which she rejected so that it won’t clash with ijakuomo.

She said before this time,she had be working for funke akindele’s team and she was being paid in dollars but she had to reject this deal that came from funke’s team because toyin Abraham had told her before then she would be shooting for her movie.

She said she shot two scenes in ijakuomo for toyin Abraham and she was paid 50000 for it.
She shot promotional contents with her friends and did cinema runs cause she was constantly reminded she was a cast in the movie only for her to find out later that her scenes were taken out and she was never a cast in the movie.

On this case.. She might not win.. If someone calls you for a job.. Tell them your rate and what it covers. Don't accept it then come back and say you weren't treated well. And giving her 50k for two scenes is generous.. Because me I don't even know her and I watch Yoruba film well. As at then she wasnt important. Some people on that set will get nothing.
