I'm an #indieauthor working in the #scifi /#fantasy genre, set in the world of the Thelenic Curriculum and incorporating scientific and social themes. My books passed the Bechdel test before I knew what it was.

Saw the new #mastersoftheuniverse movie today and if that movie truly 'bombed' it proves there was never a market for a MOTU movie. Because it hit every note it needed to bang-on.
@straczynski Speaking as a British long-time Who fan: oh God yes. It desperately needs someone who understands how to combine long and short-form storytelling and how to get a point across without beating the viewer to death with it. I don't care where they're from.

@TheOCDoctor1@Skullivander One of the earliest Inquisitor Kryptman (the guy who basically discovered the Tyranids) story snippets has him 'administering the ritual blow to the machine's casing' in order to get his terminal to work.
@SandyofCthulhu I always say that one big thing Cruise's performance has going for it is you can believe random mooks trying to pick fights with him. You'd have to be suicidal to do that to someone who looks like book Reacher.
@JagerShaman You can do quite a bit with the Loyalist rules, convert models and use Agents to add weird psykers etc. which is what I currently do. But yes, not having proper Traitor Guard is a bizarre anomaly.
@ZakkuRye I'd love to see some new characters, and I'm still hoping against hope that they'll pull some sort of rabbit out of the hat gameplay-wise. If it ends up just being a DOA6 DLC bundle I fear the refund window will be doing some heavy lifting.
@AndrewZ24597481 The thing I really don't like, which is fortunately optional, is that extra crewman sort of standing on the turret manning a heavy stubber. It looks so much better if you mount the stubber on the cupola instead.
@vapertvaping I'd go with an episode of 40k in 40 minutes from Play on Tabletop, ideally one with a guest appearance from the War mistress or with a charity giveaway army. Digestible and not too threatening.
@NornQueenKya I'm not yet convinced Detection Range is going to be as big a thing as GW seem to think it is. With the new maps shooting much more than 12" is going to be a bit unusual to begin with.
@TearShapedHeart I bet anyone trying to make third-party versions of these will find GW has carefully copyrighted their exact dimensions. Fortunately they shouldn't be too hard to trace onto cardboard.
@NornQueenKya Battleshock sticks now, so it's going to get more impactful. They'll need a few ways to cause it with penalties (like Noise Marines) and then they can cause all sorts of bother.
@TearShapedHeart It's drilled in two of those shots. In fact this illustrates one of the reasons I don't do it, at the scale of a miniature a black dot often looks more like a hole than a hole does.
@idioticsynergy I use Contacta, has one of those steel applicator needles, likes to clog up but otherwise doesn't let me down. I hear good things about Tamiya super thin, too.
