Several memoranda of understanding have been signed between our two countries, in the areas of defence cooperation, leveraging on Turkiye's advanced defence capabilities , a joint declaration establishing the economy and trade joint committee, cooperation in the field of higher education, as well as in the field of media and communication, cooperation in the field of diaspora policy, cooperation in the field of education, agreement in the field of Halal quality assurance, and cooperation between the Republic of Türkiye, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Diplomacy Academy, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Affairs Academy.
