And any crypto that is not an officially recognized "fiat crypto" will be denounced and maybe even made illegal. Maybe I'm proven wrong in the future but I see the probability of gov't intervening in crypto's quite high. Higher then the price of bitcoin.

Don't underestimate what the Fed and IRS can do. With the banks, they'll issue their own version of bitcoin and that'll be that. Banks already transfer trillions of dollars digitally. It wouldn't take much for banks to create their own crypto infrastructure.

The greed in some people causes them to chase and bid prices higher because they hope to cash out big in DOLLARS. Yes, one day "crypto" currencies may exist and be adopted by mass by the public but it would be crypto "dollars".
