Here's the thing: If Bryce Young has a huge year in 2026, Monroe Freeling being a ready made starter on a rookie deal will be extremely important for the cap situation during the first 2-3 years of a QB extension.

You could say: Cool, why not do that next year? Well, the OL was a MASH unit last year, you'd be one play away from a guy who gave up 11 sacks last year.
