I don’t think they ever found the murderer in this story either. This happened on my street. I walk past the spot and think about it everyday.
Several major corporations have left Illinois since Governor JB Pritzker took office in 2019
Boeing: Moved its global headquarters from Chicago to Arlington, Virginia.
Caterpillar: Relocated its global headquarters from Deerfield to Irving, Texas.
Citadel: Moved its headquarters and financial operations to Miami, Florida.
Morton Salt: Relocated its headquarters from Chicago to the Kansas City area.
Tyson Foods: Moved corporate operations out of Illinois to Arkansas.
TTX Company: Moved its corporate headquarters to Charlotte, North Carolina.

There’s a common denominator here and it ain’t “the corporate elite.” At some point you have to accept that Illinois politicians are morons.
@KristenMeghan Not to mention, over the last 5 years Illinois has used billions of taxpayer dollars to accommodate illegal aliens. Billions.
“Those greedy McCaskeys. No tax breaks for billionaires.” - useful idiots
@CourtneyRCronin Remember when Morton Salt built a storied legacy in Illinois for 178 years(!) Yes, 178 YEARS! Then they fled Chicago in 2024 and moved to Kansas City.
Or how about the Chicago Stock Exchange building a storied legacy for 144 years(!) before leaving Chicago.
Lots of ‘shifting’!
