@BigZam69@tox1c3ve That being said, if you are used to a lower framerate it's probably acceptable. But for me, the moment I experienced 144Hz+ consistently, 30 FPS just made me nauseous.
@BigZam69@tox1c3ve Any shooter game, for example COD or Battlefield. I am speaking of how I experienced consoles in the past though.
These days I'm pretty sure those games are downscaled in a way they provide at least 60 FPS or a performance mode though. But if they were 30 FPS it would be bad.
@brodybeilfuss@JTBibito@BigZam69@tox1c3ve This has to be ragebait. If you can't tell the difference between 30 and 60 fps in a game with fast movement (on a suitable monitor) there is something wrong, or you are too slow to even process the images on your screen.
@BigZam69@tox1c3ve Consoles are designed to be cheap alternatives to PCs. To use the worst specs possible but still have a somewhat playable experience so they can mass sell. You literally play a downgraded version of every game just to reach a measly 60 fps in most games. GTA probably 30 fps.
@TheBattleSlag@TheWarOwl Because it's heavily determined by how lucky you are. When jumping your spread spirals to a pretty big range, for the bullet to go to the center you have to be very lucky, and your opponent is very unlucky at the same time.
@MissKelliXXX@ur_ebonygf There is such a thing as training your own AI where you set your own rules and limitations. It's not cheap but given what you can do with it, it could be a meaningful investment.
@jack7pistolCS@Kerovski It's subjective unfortunately, I also agree the old system was better. But unfortunately all games are engagement driven these days, meaning they try to appeal to a larger audience.

One of the many examples on a simple search. Many reports within, with people having the same issue. Maybe you haven't experienced it much because of specific game related predictions giving you the advantage. Also the pace/gameplay is much different.
I do wonder why they never added the locking, I suppose to prevent visual clutter for teammates but then they could just make a toggle to enable the locking individually (a person could only ping 1 gadget at a time anyway).
The new Rainbow Six: Siege gadget pinging system seems pretty close to finished!
- You can ping enemy & friendly gadgets
- Enemy gadgets show up as red, friendly as blue
- You can lock onto a gadget (so it doesn't dissapear)
- Crosshair appears in center
@jack7pistolCS@Kerovski In some shooters the prediction may be better (or at least feeling better), but that's still all it is, predicting. Unfortunately we don't have a lightspeed connection to every other person in the world.
