If we’re being honest, the concept of community (within the African culture) strongly relies on the availability of women.

For instance, when women can’t do the chopping at funerals because they have other commitments (like work), a catering company will be hired. If a female relative can’t babysit, a nanny will be paid. Communities crumble when women can’t show up.
