@mattkratter@AdamBLiv There's already >$100T parked in legacy non-bitcoin related "income financial products"
STRC is merely a bridge for those who likely won't ever buy/custody bitcoin, or a lifeline for those who need the cash flow. It's for normies, not (most) bitcoiners.
Not complicated..
@michaellebowitz If โฟ's value is so vague and mysterious, then go mine a โฟlock and report back to us with your operating costs.
Key point: don't report back on somebody else's operating costs. Go do it yourself and let us know. We'll wait patiently. ๐
The part where a so-called bitcoin company CEO is actively rooting against and publicly shitting on a proven Bitcoin company, on a particularly bloody day in the middle of a bear market, and then trying to market said so-called bitcoin company to other sentient bitcoiners with a gay promo for a $30 sign up bonus.
@travisakers Remember the good old days? When teachers were mostly married moms who taught because they valued kids, enjoyed teaching, appreciated summers off with a part-time income, and they even knew what a woman is.
Good times.
I have always, and will continue, to stand with the Ukrainian people and unequivocally condemn Putinโs illegal and brutal invasion. I voted against the Ukraine Support Act because of its inclusion of broad economic sanctions. Time and again, sanctions like these fail to achieve their stated goals while inflicting real suffering on ordinary people. Opposing Russian aggression does not require us to support policies that punish ordinary civilians who did not ask for this war.
The foreign policy establishment continues to return to the same failed playbook and expects different results. Economic sanctions fail to achieve their desired goals and in most cases are counterproductive to ending war.
I remain committed to supporting diplomacy, peace, and justice for the Ukrainian people affected by this horrific conflict. But I could not in good conscience support legislation that wages economic warfare on innocent civilians.
If orbital datacenters are such an Amazing, Obvious idea
why did Elon not mention them for 23 years?
SpaceX was founded in 2002. Elon has been obsessively thinking about space and AI forever.
Yet, the first time he mentioned orbital datacenters was in 2025.
We're supposed to believe that this is an Incredible Opportunity, very obvious when Thinking From First Principles
Yet....... It didn't occur to him for two decades? Until suddenly, only after the unprofitable xAI merged with SpaceX (total coincidence, to be sure), suddenly it's the Most Obvious Plan and clearly worth Trillions?
Pardon me. Forgive me. I love SpaceX, and yet I am skeptical.
