Greetings Taylor,
I would be open to discussing this in some capacity. My chief concern is protecting my ex, keeping all of the focus on my conduct ONLY, not hers. I have concerns about privacy, etc
I would like to, if you agree, DM briefly from this account to discuss terms, then have a quick call ( I'll pay if I have to ).
Under the right circumstances, I'd be open to joining a "space" that you host at some later date.
Through the years, my ex and I have revealed my existence to more than a dozen social media people ... mostly with larger accounts. We are very discerning about VETTING who we reveal me to, before we do so. Making sure they are not clout chasers, engagement-chasers, or shameless money-chasers. But the fact that I exist is an open secret to many professionals. Some of them know me by name.
Social media can be a dangerous place, and protecting myself and my family members can be difficult when people in love with a beautiful woman discover that I was her fiance.
I've done social media out of duty to my ex, to help her achieve her dream of becoming a SAHM mom with a comfortable social media career. She is now on a different path, which I respect and honor. I stand by all of my conduct, though I am open to the possibility that some of it was unethical, in some value systems. I would not "defend" myself, only tell the truth. I don't like social media generally, I am a man, and wanted to help my love, and strangers, anonymously. I don't want to be known, and I ask that you please take steps to respect my wishes in that matter.
I have never profited from this, and in my years helping her with her social media, have LOST in the neighbourhood of $10,000 simply from involvement in her social media business. This was not due to her exploiting me in any way, but a choice I made as the man, for our future.
If we talk, I am a terrible liar. If you ask the "right questions", I might inadvertently reveal who my ex is. I would ask, out of good-faith, that we REALLY keep the focus on my actions, my conduct.
If I am confident that this is a good-faith conversation, designed to arrive at understanding, then I am enthusiastic. If I sense it is something like a shameless engagement-grab, I would then like to talk only privately.
I'd like to remind you that the only reason you know I exist is that I revealed myself to you a few days ago, in an act of good faith, honor, and respect. Please do not exploit my good faith in you.
My dream was to exit my exes' social media business gently, without abandoning any unfinished tasks, or people. My nightmare is to leave her with a controversy. Please act in good faith, and show me that I wasn't wrong about you.
Respectfully,
The Elf, currently finishing the final shoes
