It really should be simple to have honest public debate, and this panel hit the nail on the head. Three takeaways:
One, avoid thoughtless sharing, verify before you share.
Two, it is everyone's job to speak honestly using facts. Journalism is evolving. Stay curious.
Three, young people are not helpless victims, they are sophisticated, tech-savvy and curious, and they need continuous digital verification skills.

On Friday, 20 March, we joined 110 students at @Rongo_Uni for a full day of learning on fact-checking, digital verification and AI literacy.
