First time I knew HMO discrimination was a thing was when I tried using mine as a Corper.

I got into the hospital and noticed there was a separate section for people using HMO, the medication they gave them was different because if you want something “better”, your HMO can’t afford it, they took longer to attend to them and were generally impolite and condescending.
I was confused because isn’t the idea behind this supposed to be a good thing??? But then again, it’s Nigeria.

Once again. Nigerians are ready to work. Over qualified to work. And actually work like machines. Offer the salary that matches the talent and dedication you are looking for, and you will fill the roles in seconds.

This is what I’ve consistently highlighted over the last 2 years. Nigerians will ignore the ECONOMY, which is the root of all their problems, and be busy blaming one another.

The Economy doesn’t favour small businesses to pay adequate wages. The Economy is also putting a lot of strain on people’s purchasing power. They need money that can cover their living expenses; rent, groceries, healthcare etc, especially the highly skilled ones, before they give you their time.

With the right remuneration, I promise you some will resign from their current jobs and work for you this evening.

I so much dislike hearing this “Nigerians are unemployed or do want to work” narrative. It turns my stomach. Sort your economy and watch everything fall into place. But you people will not hear.
