Hi Emily, I'm sorry you feel that our evidence is faked. I, along with every other physician who worked in Gaza, saw these things with our own eyes. If you don't believe us that's your choice, but it's quite the conspiracy theory to claim that dozens of physicians and nurses who don't know each other and have nothing in common other than that they volunteered in Gaza and are from a wide variety of ethic and religious backgrounds, have invented this fantastic story out of whole cloth and then duped the New York Times into publishing it. It would take hours upon hours to go through all of the silly claims I've seen on this thread from people presenting themselves as experts (for example because they've seen videos of melons being shot and believe that the human skull reacts the same way, which it does not).

People will just have to decide for themselves: is it really plausible that 65 doctors and nurses are such raving anti-Semitic lunatics (including me, despite having lived in Israel for a year after college, and including Dr. Mark Perlmutter who still wears his late father's mezuzah around his neck) that they went all the way to Gaza just so that they could come back to lie about what they saw? I think the answer is pretty obvious.
