When Sokoto youths burnt Deborah Samuel for blaspheming prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu Alayhi Wasalaam, Peter Obi immediately shut down the Internet and almost excised Sokoto from Nigeria. Oby Ezekwesili erupted in holy anger with alacrity. But four days after three men and a woman burnt a seventy-four-year-old woman to death in Anambra, have you heard pim from Peter Obi? Or from Oby Ezekwesili, who are both from Anambra?

The same incident, but different reactions because it took place in separate places.

And this is not the first time. In 2023, two brothers, Chinedu and Omama, were burnt to death in Onitsha, where Peter Obi lives. Did he say anything? Did Oby Ezekwesili talk? But they both danced naked in public when there were stampede deaths in Ibadan.

The strategy is simple. Peter Obi and Oby will grab a megaphone if it occurs in Sokoto and Ibadan. But if it happens in Igboland, Peter Obi and Oby will chop and clean their mouths!
