NBE scammed FMG’s
This is not justice—it is damage control.
NBE IS THE TRUE WINNER. Their revenue increases with an add on exam.
After an allegedly irrational paper and disputed video-based questions, NBEMS gave FMGs:
❌ No compensation marks
❌ No relief for FMGE June 2026
❌ No question paper or answer key( question ID And answer ID is useless
❌ No immediate response-sheet transparency
❌ No accountability for the chaos
Instead, NBEMS announced three exams a year—meaning three opportunities to collect examination fees from already distressed students. Even the fee “reduction” has no amount or deadline. The promised 30:50:20 difficulty ratio, better centres, portal transparency and FMG representation are all future assurances without a concrete implementation mechanism.
They even claim there were “only 14” video-based questions, while the matter remains before the Delhi High Court.
Students demanded justice for the exam already conducted. NBEMS offered another paid attempt. You cannot convert institutional failure into a recurring revenue model and call it reform.

FMG Protest 2026 — Who is actually winning?
An extra 3rd FMGE exam in Oct–Nov 2026.
No clarity on releasing the question paper and answer key — zero accountability and transparency.
So who benefits?
Directly: NBE will earn ₹20 crore+ from extra exam fees.
Indirectly: Coaching institutes will benefit from extra batches.
And who will continue to suffer?
Students!
Those who were peacefully preparing for Jan 2027 will now rush for the Oct/Nov 2026 attempt and try to complete the syllabus early, resulting in poor revision. After this attempt, they will also have less time for the January attempt. So, more students may end up trapped in the same loop.
This is the first kind of protest where those who were protesting got nothing, but NBEMS got a bonus—extra ₹20 cr+ new revenue model.
FMGs should be careful of the people they call their “Messiah” .
They have no idea , i repeat no idea how their emotions were played by their own player !
FMG strike called off but was it a mistake by doing so after a successful ongoing protest ?
Let us decode the game played with FMGs :
• The NBEMS didn’t accept the main demand of granting compensation of marks to FMGs
• The NBEMS said fees will be reduced : but no mention of amount
• The NBEMS said FMG exam will be conducted 3 times a year which has two meaning :
First: Even if the fees is reduced most of the FMGs will give exam thrice due to short preparation time hence the amount they will pay for exam will make no difference from current price or even more (A smart move played by NBEMS)
Second : Reduced time of preparation and more panic to buy short courses which will benefit the coaching industry (A smart move that will benefit coaching industry)
In all ways i don’t find it a smart decision to call off the strike , rather a well played move by NBEMS .
FMGE Aspirants Demand Immediate Probe into June 2026 Exam Irregularities
New Delhi
Foreign Medical Graduates gathered outside the National Medical Commission office, seeking urgent intervention over alleged irregularities, a lack of transparency, and administrative lapses during the #FMGE June 2026 examination conducted by the National Board of #Examinations in Medical Sciences.
According to student representatives, an initial protest on August 3 resulted in assurances from authorities that an inquiry committee would be constituted within two weeks. That fourteen-day window ended on August 17 without an official update. Subsequent student delegations visiting the headquarters on August 18 were requested to wait another twenty-four hours, but more than forty-eight hours have elapsed since without a formal response.
Central to their grievances is the unannounced introduction of time-intensive, video-based clinical questions without prior notification, mock orientation, or additional examination time. Candidates also reported severe infrastructure failures at numerous test centers nationwide, including non-functional air conditioning during peak summer temperatures, poor ventilation, and a lack of drinking water over the five-hour testing period.
Aspirants have raised strong demands for institutional transparency, urging the testing agency to release official answer keys and response sheets. This call follows widespread concern over repeated score clusters, including numerous instances of candidates scoring 149 marks across consecutive attempts without means for independent verification.
Student representatives have formally sought compensatory measures to account for the cumulative distress caused by sudden pattern shifts, heightened difficulty, and poor center conditions.
FMGE JUNE 2026
AFA STANDS WITH FMGs
The concerns raised by FMGE June 2026 candidates cannot be ignored.
Unexpected changes in the exam pattern, video-based questions without prior information, serious centre-related issues and the drastic fall in the pass percentage demand a fair, transparent and accountable review.
AFA stands firmly with the affected FMGs and demands:
🥼Compensation marks for affected candidates
🥼Complete transparency in the review process
🥼Accountability from NBEMS
🥼A fair and just resolution
This is not about seeking an advantage.
This is about ensuring a fair assessment.
NBEMS must hear the FMGs.
FMGs deserve justice.
