Central Arkansas's 6'9 Malchiah Marable
Stats: 4.5 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 1.4 APG, 57% FG, 2 stocks per game, 20.1 MPG.
Marable's very raw on offense but hard to not find him to be enticing on defense, he's a big, standing at 6'9/250, moves well, one of those guys who may not pop on the stat sheet but does a lot of good things thanks to having a very high motor. Whether it's diving for loose balls, his anticipation for steals, or just defending quicker guards in the PNR, he's done a solid job at it. Part of UCA's strong season.
Excited and grateful to announce my plans to attend Grand Valley State University after completing a postgrad year at Hargrave. Thank you Coach Mann for believing in me. Thank you to all the coaches at Hargrave for all the support.
Another incoming freshman we covered this week is @malchiiah! He's signed with @UCAMBB!
He brings a presence at big that they don't have on the roster outside of him. Here's a small breakdown, catch more from the link in our description!
1000% committed!!! Thank you to all the coaches who have helped me along the way. My story is far from finished. Big shoutout to @CoachJimmyAllen for believing in me, LETS WORK!

Big Mal displayed incredible growth throughout the year as a leader and with his play on the floor; he made a lasting impact on our program and he’s set up for a successful career at Central Arkansas‼️
Major life lesson to young hoopers🔑🏀
As humans we often compare ourselves to those around us. We see our friends making it and think, “when is my time.” We put in the work everyday and feel as though it is not being seen or rewarded. The reality is, the reward is the work. If you work with no expectation other than for the love of what you do, you will never get your hopes up from the expectation of what you think you deserve. The only expectation you should have is on yourself, to love what you do, to give everything you have, and to do it with joy everyday. The man who loves walking, will walk further than the man who loves the destination. It’s important to have goals and dreams! However, it’s very important to not force a goal or dream just to say you arrived at a destination. God hears the conversations you don’t hear. He is the rooms that you are not in. He sees where certain paths lead and the destruction of certain destinations. Thank God for when he closes certain doors, because it may not have been what you thought it was. In today’s sport discernment is more important than ever. Don’t chase level, clout, image, money, or the portal. Chase GOD and the love and fulfillment of what you do. Your time will come, in His timing. KEEP GOING, not for the destination, but for the LOVE!
Congratulations @malchiiah on your commitment to @UCAMBB! You've stayed focused on your dream and we couldn’t be more excited to see you take the next step in your basketball journey. Wishing you continued success on and off the court! #DCP#Represent
