🚨🎙️ Thierry Henry on Éderson being called up to Brazil’s World Cup squad:
🗣️ “What surprises me is that both Éderson and João Pedro had very good seasons, yet it was Éderson who got the call when Brazil needed a replacement.
Now, before people misunderstand me, I’m not saying Éderson was called up simply because he joined Manchester United. His performances absolutely played the biggest role.
But joining Manchester United puts a spotlight on you that very few clubs in world football can match.
The moment you sign for Manchester United, people watch you differently. Every game is analysed, every performance gets attention, and suddenly more eyes are on you.
Éderson earned this opportunity with his football, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the call came just weeks after he joined one of the biggest clubs in the world.
That’s the power of Manchester United. The club still carries a global influence that very few teams can match.” 👀🔴
West Ham intend to set Mateus Fernandes asking price at £80m.
Southampton due 15 per cent sell-on.
#MUFC interested in 21-year-old, among several midfield options. PSG also considering an approach.

By age 44, Alex Ferguson had won
3 Scottish league titles
4 Scottish Cups
1 Scottish League Cup
1 European Cup Winners' Cup
1 European Super Cup
Stop this bullshit
@Llouutd@arinzechukwuab1 I agree! we use to throw money for anyone & that hasn’t turned out well. now it’s all about signing the right player for the right price. Plus with there being a WC negotiations will take longer especially players that are at the tournament
I’ve watched Ederson a few times and he’s alright, but the reason I’m very hyped about this signing and why I think he’ll succeed is because more than half of the Manchester United fanbase don’t rate him.
They all wanted Delap, Gyökeres, Sancho, Ugarte, Højlund, and wanted us to sell Bruno for Baleba, the list goes on. You’d think they know better than the people that signed, Sesko, Mbeumo, Cunha, Lammens, Heavens & Dorgu.
So welcome to Manchester United, Ederson. Hopefully, you’ll make us proud.
🚨 Éderson will only be the first midfield signing at Man United, at least another one has been planned.
Casemiro and Ugarte to leave so #MUFC will add one more, could be two under certain conditions.

🚨 Lewis Hall on comparisons to Luke Shaw and links to Manchester United:
🗣️ Reporter:
“There are links to Manchester United and I remember you once said that if Luke Shaw never suffered the injuries he did, he'd go down as one of the greatest left-backs football has ever seen?”
🗣️ Lewis Hall:
“I still believe that. When Luke is fit, I genuinely think he's one of the best left-backs in the world. Maybe I need to give him a call and ask how he dealt with the expectations of playing for Manchester United. (laughs) I've seen United fans compare me to him and honestly that's a huge compliment.
As for the links, football is unpredictable. You never know what can happen. But I'll be honest...when one of the biggest clubs in the world is mentioned alongside your name, it's difficult not to feel proud.
For now I'm focused on my football. But every player grows up wanting to play on the biggest stages. And Manchester United has always been one of those stages.”
Raphael Varane didn’t win the World Cup, three Laligas, three super cups, three club world cups, an Fa cup, a Spanish cup, a Carabao cup, three Spanish super cups, and the nations league, just to get compared to “Gabriel”
@UTDRico8 Re-Signing CR7 was the problem. We went from playing fast free flowing attacking football, we’re ALL attackers contributed too, just feed CR7 & the attack ended up becoming static
🚨 Dimitar Berbatov slams Elliot Anderson’s reported £100M valuation amid Manchester United interest ahead of the summer transfer window:
🗣️ “I’ve heard Manchester United are looking at Elliot Anderson and I can understand the interest.
He’s energetic, technically good, works hard and has shown real personality in the Premier League.
But £100 million? Come on.
That price is absolutely crazy.
We are talking about a talented young midfielder, not a player who has dominated football for five or six years.
This is what is wrong with the modern transfer market.
Every time a young English-based player has a good season, the price doubles overnight.
I like Anderson, I really do.
I think he has the qualities to play for a club like Manchester United.
He has intensity, confidence and looks like someone who enjoys responsibility.
But there is a huge difference between being a good player and being a £100 million player.
Manchester United have made mistakes before by overpaying for potential.
If the club believes in him, fine.
But paying anything close to £100 million would be madness.
For that kind of money, you should be buying one of the best midfielders in world football, not a player who is still proving himself.”

🚨 Jamie Carragher Slams Arsenal After Final Defeat to PSG
🗣️: "That might be the worst performance I've ever seen in a Champions League final. Honestly, Arsenal played like Getafe for 120 minutes. Ninety minutes of sitting deep, thirty more minutes of sitting even deeper.
I kept waiting for them to show some ambition, some courage, but the plan seemed obvious: survive, survive, survive and hope David Raya wins the penalty shootout.
This is the Champions League final, not a relegation battle. You can't spend two hours defending your own box and expect people to praise it as tactical genius.
Mikel Arteta got it completely wrong. PSG looked like they wanted to win the trophy; Arsenal looked like they were trying not to lose it. If your entire game plan is to get to penalties because you've got a good goalkeeper, you've already handed control of the final to the opposition.
For me, that's one of the poorest final performances this competition has ever seen."
🚨Only 8 clubs have won the Champions League unbeaten.
The ONLY club to do it twice? Manchester United. 🏆🏆
Meanwhile, Arsenal became the first team in history to reach the final unbeaten TWICE and still lose the trophy. 🥈🥈
There are LEVELS to this game. 😭🔴
