I'm saddened to hear about the passing of Prince Karim Aga Khan IV. He was a remarkable leader and philanthropist who dedicated his life to improving the lives of others. My deepest condolences to his family, the Ismaili community, and all those who were touched by his extraordinary work.
I extend a warm welcome to Prince Rahim Aga Khan V as the new Imam of the Ismaili Muslims. May his leadership be blessed with wisdom and guidance as he carries forward the legacy of his father, Prince Karim Aga Khan IV. I wish him all the best in his endeavours to serve the Ismaili community and humanity at large.

This was my decision yesterday and this is my decision today, no matter how much you oppress me, Malik Riaz will not testify!
Doing business in Pakistan is not easy, despite obstacles at every step, 40 years of blood and sweat, by the grace of Allah, the first world-class housing Bahria Town was built in Pakistan. Allah gave me perseverance, and I was able to keep the promises made to my members. Numerous impediments and official blackmailing sometimes created delays in fulfilling promises, but my Allah always helped me live up to my vision for my people. I want to mention it in clear terms that years of blackmailing, fake cases and greed of officers couldn’t deter me, but due to my principle stance of refusing to be a witness (political pawn), I had to move abroad.
For a long time, people wanted the Pakistan brand to be made a world-class brand. Allah Almighty made me the reason for this and BT Properties has been started in Dubai.
The secret of Dubai's development is the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the absence of an institution like NAB.
Today's deplorable press release by NAB is actually a new demand for blackmail. I am resisting, but I am sitting with a storm in my heart. If this breaks, then everyone's illusion will be put into reality. Let's not forget that all the secrets of the last 25/30 years are safe with evidence.
By the grace of Allah, Bahria Town Pakistan became the most successful project and now, by the grace of Allah, BT Properties Dubai will also be very successful.
Mashallah,till now, investors from dozens of countries have come to Dubai and are showing exemplary interest in the BT Properties project. Twenty-five crore Pakistanis should be proud that their company has been chosen for a prestigious project in global competition by the most transparent and honest system in the world. With the determination that our life and death were and will always be for Pakistan, we assure our Pakistani brothers and sisters that we have abided by the laws of every country in the world, including Pakistan, and will always continue to do so.
Malik Riaz will neither be used against anyone nor will be blackmailed by any. God willing, the Dubai project will be successful and will become a symbol of Pakistan throughout the world, including Dubai.

I will not bow down to the oppressor. These are today's scenes of security personnel barging into Bahria Town building without any legal justification. Does this reflect the government's priority to demolish rather than encouraging investors? Such illegal and unethical conduct only sends the message that no investor will be safe to do business in Pakistan anymore. These actions will prove to be a killer poison for Pakistan's economic growth. Despite all this persecution, I stand by my position. I'll not give in to these victimization and pressure tactics.

یہ سیکورٹی اہلکاروں کے ،بغیر کسی قانونی جواز کے بحریہ ٹاؤن کی عمارت میں گھسنے کے آج کے مناظر ہیں۔ملک کی تعمیر میں کردار ادا کرنے کی بجائے گرانے میں دلچسپی کس ترجیح کی عکاسی کرتی ہے؟حکومتی جبر پر مبنی ایسی غیر قانونی اور غیر اخلاقی کاروائی صرف یہ پیغام دیتی ہے کہ اب کوئی بھی سرمایہ کار پاکستان میں محفوظ کاروبار نہیں کرے گا۔ یہ کاروائیاں پاکستان کی معیشت کے لیے زہر قاتل ثابت ہوں گی ۔ اس سب ظلم و ستم کے باوجود میں اپنے موقف پر قائم ہوں۔

Fake List Exposed!
A fake list is circulating on social media, falsely alleging that journalists were paid by Bahria Town. The letterhead used in this list is also fraudulent. Bahria Town intends to pursue legal action against those responsible for spreading this misinformation.

Tonight, Bahria Town offices in Rawalpindi have been raided by state machinery without any legal authority. Following my public declaration to not be party to any political power struggles, I'm being subject to open vandalism and persecution. I strongly condemn these fascist, unlawful, intimidating actions against Bahria Town. These simultaneous raids lasted for hours, vandalized offices, harassed and later abducted 9 security and staff members from the offices. The raiding teams have forcibly taken along 5 thousand plus important project files, office records, 23 computers, network data, departmental cash, and 9 vehicles. The whereabouts of 9 Bahria town staff members are still unknown. The damage to the building is estimated to be around 5 million.
After seizing many Bahria Town properties and accounts last month, these raids simply reflect unrelenting highhandedness and rogue behaviour by state institutions to coerce Bahria Town for their political agenda
As Chairman of Bahria Town, I assure you, such bullying will not deter me from my stand I have already made public. This arm twisting isn't hurting me only, it's crippling the real estate investment in Pakistan. You're not demolishing my business, your actions are locking up the economic growth of the country. If this is the real agenda behind this witch-hunt, let the people of Pakistan see for what this really is.
We believe in the law of the land. Hence, we're facing all cases on legal forums and cooperating in ongoing inquiries. I elucidate it again, I'll not become a stooge in any power game. I reiterate my long-standing stance of neutrality, and i'll resist every pressure tactic forced upon me to pick a side.
I only stand by the rule of law. Therefore, I demand PM, CM Punjab, MOI, and the heads of NAB/ FIA to immediately release BT staff. Return all documents and seized equipment from our offices. I want to reassure families of missing staff members that Bahria Town stands with them and will not leave any stone unturned in securing their early release.
Lastly, history will judge all of us for our actions in the future, but right now, I want the people of Pakistan to be my judge and speak for the restoration of the rule of law in Pakistan.

آج رات راولپنڈی میں بحریہ ٹاؤن کے دفاتر پر سرکاری مشینری نے بغیر کسی قانونی اختیار کے چھاپے مارے ہیں۔ کسی بھی سیاسی اقتدار کی جدوجہد میں فریق نہ بننے کے اپنے عوامی اعلان کے بعد، مجھے کھلی توڑ پھوڑ اور ظلم و ستم کا نشانہ بنایا جا رہا ہے۔ میں بحریہ ٹاؤن کے خلاف ان فاشسٹ، غیر قانونی، دھمکی آمیز اقدامات کی شدید مذمت کرتا ہوں۔ یہ بیک وقت چھاپے گھنٹوں تک جاری رہے، دفاتر میں توڑ پھوڑ کی، دفاتر میں تعینات سیکیورٹی اور عملے کو ہراساں کیا اور بعد میں اغوا کیا گیا۔ چھاپہ مار ٹیموں نے 5 ہزار سے زائد اہم پراجیکٹ فائلیں، دفتری ریکارڈ،  23کمپیوٹر، نیٹ ورک ڈیٹا، محکمانہ  نقدی وغیرہ اور 9 گاڑیوں کو زبردستی اپنے ساتھ لے گئے ہیں ۔ عمارت کو پہنچنے والے نقصان کا اندازہ 50 لاکھ کے قریب ہے۔ بحریہ ٹاؤن کے عملے کے 9 ارکان کا ابھی تک پتہ نہیں چل سکا ہے۔

گزشتہ ماہ بحریہ ٹاؤن کی بہت سی جائیدادوں اور اکاؤنٹس کو ضبط کرنے کے بعد، یہ چھاپے صرف اپنے سیاسی ایجنڈوں کے لیے بحریہ ٹاؤن پر دباؤ ڈالنے کے لیے ریاستی اداروں کی جانب سے بے لگام بدمعاشی کی عکاسی کرتے ہیں۔ بحریہ ٹاؤن کے چیئرمین کی حیثیت سے، میں آپ کو یقین دلاتا ہوں، اللہ تعالٰی کے فضل سے، اس طرح کی غنڈہ گردی مجھے اپنے موقف سے نہیں روکے گی جو میں پہلے ہی منظر عام پر لا چکا ہوں۔ یہ تشدد اور دھونس و دھمکیاں صرف مجھے ہی نقصان نہیں پہنچا رہے، یہ پاکستان میں رئیل اسٹیٹ کی سرمایہ کاری کو متاثر کر رہا ہے۔ آپ میرا کاروبار تباہ نہیں کر رہے، آپ کے اقدامات ملک کی معاشی ترقی کو روک رہے ہیں۔ اگر ان غیر قانونی اقدامات کے پیچھے اصل ایجنڈا یہی ہے تو پاکستانی عوام دیکھیں کہ یہ اصل میں کیا ہے اور کون کر رہا ہے ۔
بحریہ ٹاؤن انتظامیہ قانون پر یقین رکھتی ہے۔ لہذا، ہم قانونی فورمز پر تمام مقدمات کا سامنا کر رہے ہیں اور جاری پوچھ گچھ میں تعاون کر رہے ہیں۔ میں دوبارہ واضح کرتا ہوں،کہ اللہ تعالٰی کی مدد سےمیں کسی طاقت کے کھیل میں کٹھ پتلی نہیں بنوں گا۔ میں قانون کی حکمرانی کے ساتھ کھڑا ہوں، اس لیے میں وزیراعظم، وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب، وزارت داخلہ اور نیب/ایف آئی اے کے سربراہان سے بحریہ ٹاؤن کے عملے کو فوری طور پر رہا کرنے کا مطالبہ کرتا ہوں۔ ہمارے دفاتر سے تمام دستاویزات اور ضبط شدہ سامان واپس کریں۔ میں لاپتہ عملے کے ارکان کے اہل خانہ کو یقین دلانا چاہتا ہوں کہ میں ان کے ساتھ کھڑا ہوں اور ان کی جلد رہائی کو یقینی بنانے میں کوئی کسر نہیں چھوڑوں گا۔
آخر میں، تاریخ ہم سب کا مستقبل میں ہمارے اعمال کے مطابق فیصلہ کرے گی، لیکن فی الحال، میں چاہتا ہوں کہ پاکستانی عوام میرے جج بنیں اور پاکستان میں قانون کی حکمرانی کی بحالی کے لیے میرا ساتھ دیں۔

All my life, Allah has always guided me to stand by my principle of not taking any political sides or being used by one party against the other. For over a year now, I've been under immense pressure to compromise, but I'll never allow anyone to use me as a pawn for political motives. This has been a recurring pattern of victimization against me and my business for introducing state-of-the-art projects in Pakistan. From 1996 till today, I've been punished for contributing towards the progress of the country. With the help of Allah Almighty, I have faced such pressures in the past with absolute grit and strength. Even today, in a personal capacity, I can say with utmost certainty, "over my dead body." Despite my ailing condition and distress, Alhumdulillah, I'm standing firm in the face of this adversity, bearing financial business loss daily and being pushed to the wall completely, but will not surrender to any pressure tactics. Allah will guide and help me through this tough phase with dignity. In sha Allah.
