Thousands of children in Kasur were raped & videotaped, blackmailed & are still without justice. Zainab, Uzma, Kamran, the little boys of Shahrag, the little bachabaazi victims at trucks stood, coal mines, the brothels with sex workers age 9 up. And now this child raped & found dead above a grocery store.

Yet none of this is really a priority is it?

The relentless news keeps building. But as long as the powerful keep getting richer & more powerful, it doesn’t really matter.

We have become ridiculously desensitised.

Yet most of the people turning a blind eye to the LACK of child protection in Pakistan are deeply religious.
Curious. How do you all think your silence on every platform will show up on judgment day?
Because it will.

I stopped believing in a fair world when I started working with children’s rights & children in shelters 35 years ago.
But I do believe in the justice of Allah.
And Alhamdolillah I still do believe in the compassion & kindness of the human race.
There are angels amongst us that keep my faith in humanity alive.

In the mean time…. I request today as I did during Kasur… as I did in 2011-2013-2017-2018- & every year since I’ve been active on social media…

Please speak up and demand child protection, awareness & safe guarding for children, campaigns all over Pakistan.

This pandemic of child sexual abuse needs to stop.

It’s beyond insane how society has allowed it and how complicit all of those who continue to be silent are.

We have received reports that Imran Khan was again taken to PIMS in the early hours of 15 June. We found out through a tweet by Barrister Gohar on the morning of 15 June.

We reject any medical report generated by PIMS regarding Imran Khan’s condition. The same institution has previously made questionable claims, including the assertion that Imran Khan had recovered 90% of his eyesight. Imran Khan himself rejected these claims when his lawyer later met him at Adiala Jail.

A fundamental question remains unanswered: Why does Imran Khan require a fifth injection?

We do not accept the government’s version of events. We demand that Imran Khan be examined and treated by independent, qualified specialists at Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad. This is an urgent and immediate priority.

A full bench court order permits six family members to meet Imran Khan every Tuesday. Yet over the past eight months, the authorities have largely violated this order. My sister, Dr. Uzma Khan, has only been allowed to meet him a few times, and her last meeting took place on 2 December, 2025.

We reject the government’s continued use of isolation and deprivation as tools of pressure against Imran Khan. Today, we expect all six family members to be allowed to meet him in accordance with the court’s order.

The denial of Imran Khan’s rights is not merely a political issue; it is a clear violation of both the jail manual and High Court orders.

According to the jail manual, Imran Khan is entitled to:

1. A weekly telephone call with his sons.
2. A weekly meeting with family members.
3. A weekly meeting with his legal counsel.
4. Access to books and reading material.
5. Access to television and newspapers.
6. Access to proper medical treatment and regular medical check-ups.
7. Notification to immediate family members before any medical procedure is carried out.

In addition, High Court full bench orders provide that:

1. Imran Khan must be allowed to speak with his sons by telephone.
2. Six family members and six lawyers may meet him every Tuesday.
3. Six friends, including party representatives, may meet him every Thursday.

We demand the immediate restoration of all of Imran Khan’s lawful rights as a prisoner, with access to independent and professional medical treatment in presence of family as the highest and most urgent priority.

عاصم منیر کا مشہور زمانہ عسکری ٹاؤٹ شیر افضل مروت بھی وزیرِ اعلیٰ خیبر پختونخواہ سہیل آفریدی کے خلاف اب میدان میں آ گیا ہے، شیر افضل مروت نے آئینی عدالت میں درخواست جمع کرا دی ہے کہ سہیل آفریدی کو وزارتِ اعلیٰ سے ہٹایا جائے اور واپس علی امین گنڈہ پور کو لگایا جائے، یہ شخص اب کھل کے سامنے آ گیا ہے سب کو پہلے سے پتا تھا کہ یہ ایک فوجی ٹاوٹ ہے، یہ جو بہادر بنا ہوا تھا کبھی ادھر جا رہا تھا کبھی ادھر جا رہا تھا جبکہ پاکستان تحریکِ انصاف کے لوگوں کو گھر سے نکلنے کی اجازت نہیں تھی گھروں پر چھاپے مارے جا رہے تھے تب عوام میں اتنا زیادہ جوش اور جذبہ تھا کہ کوئی انہیں لیڈ کرے، اسی زمانے میں شیر افضل مروت کی سہولت کاری کی گئی اس کو ہیرو بنانے کی کوشش کی گئی اس شخص کو بعد میں عمران خان نے خود ہٹا دیا کپتان سمجھ گئے کہ یہ کس کا بندہ ہے جو پاکستان تحریکِ انصاف میں توڑ لانے کی کوشش کر رہا ہے جس کے بعد اس کی شہرت اور عزت بالکل ختم ہو گئی، یہ شخص ایک سیاسی بونا ہے جس کو بڑی پروجیکشن ملتی ہے عاصم منیر کے ٹاوٹ صافیوں کی طرف سے، کبھی کسی پروگرام میں بٹھا دیتے ہیں کبھی کسی میں، علی امین گنڈہ پور نے بھی بیان دے دیا ہے کہ میرا اس شخص کے آئینی عدالت میں کیس دائر کرنے سے کوئی تعلق نہیں ہے، لیکن علی امین گنڈہ پور کو صاف کہنا چاہیے کہ سہیل آفریدی عمران خان کی چوائس ہے اور میں سہیل خان افریدی کے ساتھ کھڑا ہوں، اس سے یہ جو شک و شبات پیدا ہو رہے ہیں ختم ہونے چاہئیے، علی امین گنڈاپور کو اپنی حیثیت واضح کرتے ہوئے شیر افضل مروت سے دوری اختیار کرنی چاہئیے، جب سے عمران خان نے شیر افضل مروت کو پارٹی سے نکالا ہے اب اس کا پارٹی سے کوئی تعلق نہیں ہے لیکن اپنے آپ کو کسی طرح اہمیت دینے کے لیے اس طرح کی اوچھی حرکتیں کرتا ہے، اس طرح کہ ابھی بھی بہت سے ٹاؤٹ موجود ہیں.

ایک صارف نے 11 یونٹ بجلی کے خرچے جس کا بل 404 روپے آیا جو بہت زیادہ ہے اب حکومت نے ایک فکسڈ چارجز 1688 روپے اس پر لگا دیے پھر اس کے بعد کچھ اور چارجز لگا کر بل 2600 روپے سے بھی زیادہ کر دیا
یعنی 400 کے بجلی کے بل کو 2600 بنا دیا یہ کر رہی ہےحکومت یہ گھر گھر کی کہانی ہے

When cases like this stay unresolved, it sends a message that press freedom and accountability don’t matter. For Pakistan’s journalism community and for the public’s right to know, closure and a transparent investigation matter.
