Gauteng police are looking for the men who robbed and killed singer Xabiso Kambi

The police in the East of Gauteng are appealing to the public as they are seeking information with regards to the murder of Singer Xabiso Kambi.

Xabiso who became known for her singing gift, trended two years ago when her video went viral on social media when she was singing.

The singer who is born and bred in. Tsakane township in Gauteng was shot and killed during the New Year's celebration.

According to close friends, Xabiso died fighting for the family business.

Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi confirmed the incident and that the police are on the look out for the suspects that murdered Xabiso.

"It is reported that the 20 year old female victim was chasing the suspects who had robbed her of an undisclosed amount of money when she got shot. It is believed that four suspects were involved on the robbery. No one is arrested and police investigations are underway to trace and locate the suspects," she said.

She further said anyone who may have information about this incident is requested to contact the police on the Crime Stop Line at 08600 10111.
