#Elections

[Culton Scovia Nakamya @CultonScovia]

I have witnessed with my own eyes a presiding officer undermining the will of the people. How do you rig an election polled by lining up?

[Culton Scovia Nakamya @CultonScovia]

We have no LC 1 Chairperson coz this happened:
- No voter slips given.
- Police deployed no officers.
- Presiding officer said no agent should follow him while counting, no track of what he counts.
- Goons attacked voters in line. They defended themselves, mission failed.
- One line was twice the other; the 3rd candidate had only himself and his wife.
- Counting was done in silence, nobody knows the numbers.
- Presiding officer shamelessly undermined the candidate whose line was double the other and declared his own results.
- Voters didn’t allow him to proceed.
- He is nursing injuries.
- No village committee elected.
@UgandaEC We ask that Kakiri Sub county electoral officers respect the will of the people of Mpeggwe LC.
Of Mpeggwe.

Together in grief, together in hope.
Our hearts are with the victims and their families.
Grieving with you. May the victims rest in peace, and may those left behind find strength one day at a time.
Praying for healing and peace.
No one should go through this alone. Sending light, prayers, and strength to all the victims and their loved ones. 🕊️

I thought when you break the law you get arrested! When did it change to being beaten when you break the law!!! Come on @PoliceUg , u didn’t even beat the guy who killed those kids in the day care or the people who stoned the rugby player to death but you beat a youth who was walking around during cleaning time! Don’t u have bigger priorities! Shame on u! You could have handed him a broom to clean instead of doing this!! Smh! KCCA is supposed to be responsible for cleaning the city but we haven’t seen police beat anyone for KCCA!!! The people who came with this new cleaning law, do better! The heckkkkkkkk! There are soo many ways you can make the whole country wakeup and clean and beating them won’t help the promotion of ur new exercise! Buy brooms, give them to the officers, If they find anyone on the roads, let the officers hand the booms to them! Shame upon this police officers!! I’m so angry! Omdsssss
