A degree is often the end of learning, but not the start of opportunity.
@AKendunga 🇷🇼 is changing that.
Through @talentmatchinc, she equips graduates with skills, networks, and support.

Excited to be at #Segal2026 alongside incredible leaders proving that locally led solutions create lasting change.
I’m honoured to represent @G4G_Africa & @GumzoCare while also facilitating the morning grounding sessions—creating intentional spaces for reflection, connection, and wellbeing as we begin each day together.
Looking forward to meaningful conversations, new collaborations, and learning from changemakers committed to strengthening communities across Africa and beyond.

The future is built by those bold enough to imagine it.
Our ED, @semesankori , joins 700+ leaders, funders & change-makers at #Segal2026: The Next Beat in Nairobi (21–24 July) carrying the voices of our community into the room.

The future belongs to those who listen, collaborate, and act together.
We are proud to be part of #Segal2026, joining visionary African leaders, changemakers, and partners shaping a future where African voices lead, partnerships thrive, and collective action drives lasting impact. Together, we're building #TheNextBeat.
This week at #Segal2026 The Next Beat has been filled with impactful conversations, shared learning, and renewed partnerships for lasting social impact.
Our Founder & Executive Director, Maria Omare, and Senior Finance & Operations Manager, Boniface Mungoya, joined global changemakers in conversations on systems change for inclusion and leading through crisis in the nonprofit sector.
We were also delighted to host the Segal 2026 delegation at our Kibra offices, where they experienced our work firsthand. The visit showcased our systems strengthening initiatives across health, education, and social services through engagements with government partners, caregivers, occupational therapists, and our dedicated team. They also explored our therapy centre, Caregiver Empowerment Community Centre, assistive devices workshop, and our inclusive Mobile STEM Lab, demonstrating how innovation is expanding opportunities for children and youth with disabilities.
We also co-hosted the East Africa Connect side event, where we joined RELI Africa, Mama Hope, and the Kilgoris Project to exchange ideas, strengthen regional collaboration, and explore collective solutions to shared challenges.
As Segal 2026 comes to a close, we are inspired by the connections made and the shared commitment to building stronger systems and advancing inclusion.

What happens when trust meets bold imagination?
Today, we officially kicked off #Segal2026 by bringing together visionary African leaders, changemakers, and partners united by a shared belief that connection is a catalyst for impact.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting some participants of #Segal2026 at our Fresh Life offices in NABICO and thereafter a field visit in Mukuru Kwa Reuben.
Polycom Girls joined African change-makers at the @SegalFoundation Convening in Nairobi, exploring locally led development, innovation, authentic storytelling, and AI for social impact.
At Polycom Girls, we believe lasting change happens when communities are trusted to lead.
Our VP of Programmes, Kate Kiama, will be at @SegalFoundation 's #TheNextBeat2026 — in Nairobi, where she's from and where our work lives.
If you'll be in the room, find her. Ask about our new chapter with @shesthefirst and what locally led change looks like in our Kenya programmes. 🇰🇪
Every step created new possibilities. 💚
We were proud to join the Walk For Possibilities, with Kurunzi Cerebral Palsy Centre, raising awareness for cerebral palsy and highlighting the importance of supporting caregivers' mental health.
When caregivers are supported, children thrive. Together, let's build more inclusive and compassionate communities.

Last week, we were delighted to host students from Vision For Africa International Christian College, Mukono, for an insightful learning visit at our campus.
The students had the opportunity to explore our programs, interact with our team, and witness firsthand the skills, innovation, and solutions we are building through our training programs. Our girls also had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and share their experiences across different areas of learning.
We believe that learning goes beyond the classroom. Through meaningful exchanges like these, we continue to inspire young people, share knowledge, and encourage collaboration that supports skills development and empowerment.
We appreciate Vision For Africa International Christian College for choosing to visit and learn with us, and we look forward to more opportunities to connect, inspire, and grow together.
