For the love of God, please complete basic calibration of your material and machine before using any recommended settings. Extrusion multiplier specifically… Get your actual extrusion widths matching your slicer parameters.
@DarnTough Men’s underwear doesn’t hold up, is uncomfortable, and none of it is made in the USA. All things you’re known for! Make Darn Tough underwear already!
@Swordfishv44183@unusual_whales The problem is everyone spent the $1800 on ‘stuff’ and not the rent or debt. All the money was spent on stupid shit meaning the money went straight to corporations. Same thing would’ve happened if we were all given $20k. The problem is a lack of financial literacy.
Stratasys says this roll only has 0.5 in^3 left of material on it, so I can’t print anything of size. Yet look at the amount of material left on this massive spool. Unbelievable. Stay away from Stratasys at all costs.
I’ve watched three different assembly videos on this g26 and can’t find anything i’m doing wrong.. I’ve only built 2 g19s so far - with no issue. Can anyone suggest what to look at in the build?
More expensive machine does NOT mean higher quality parts. Stratasys F170 printing some ASA and it looks awful. Can’t hold less than +/- 0.02 and can’t adjust for size growth/shrinkage in slicer.
If it wasn’t clear, I’d NEVER use this to make pew pew parts. EVER. Temperatures don’t get hot enough for proper layer bonding, even with an 80°C heated chamber. Caribou, Makergear all day. Markforged Mark2 is in between 😛
@cathode_g If I’ve learned anything from testing loads of filaments, it’s that nylon (and any other material) can be drastically different from brand to brand. In my opinion, the idea of getting what you pay for applies to buying functional filament.
@chairmanwon USA made 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Mine demands you know what you’re doing in the slicer, and it’s not as forgiving as my Prusas. But when I treat my M3ID right, she gives me the best prints I can make.
I know this is an Ender-Cura community, but the Makergear & PrusaSlicer make a good combo too. This support removal and quality is 👌 Glass fiber nylon and Taulman breakaway supports
What I look for and the model I use for testing layer adhesion at different temps. Model is also good for support gaps, support width, fan speeds, etc.
