@GMB having the BBC that show no adverts, acts as a positive influence on the other channels by curbing their advertising practices. Without the BBC, the breaks could be released on streaming and others, to add more advertising. Streamers already put adds in paid streaming services

@GMB I believe people vastly undervalue the BBC. The licence fee is create value, when you consider you get TV, Internet, School learning support, Radio, World News etc…

@BBCPolitics if the 3k per mile tax applies to plug-in hybrid cars, will those of us with small batteries and where most miles are still driven on ICE power, be hit twice for tax on petrol AND 3p per mile?
