South Tripura, Tripura: Programme Officer Dr Shoumik Hazra says, "...Today, a programme on suicide prevention was organised at PM Shri Sabroom Girls' School. The theme of the programme was 'Change the Narrative on Suicide and Start the Conversation.' We discussed removing the stigma around people who attempt or contemplate suicide and taking the necessary steps to prevent such incidents. We also discussed the reasons why people contemplate suicide and explained these issues to the participants in detail..."
