Indians are blaming Infy/Murthy/Nandan for a lack of home-grown LLM. But that blame is misplaced. Infy/Murthy/Nandan could never start an AI company. They had money and they could have fund something. But that again, is their money and why should they risk it?

The real culprit here is Amitabh Kant and other IAS like him. These are the people, why I left India and started two companies in the US. These are the people, why much of Indian talent left to work for US based companies. And these folks did well.

Let's say the government gives me $10B and ask me to set up an AI lab in India. Am I qualified to do it? YES. Will I do it? HELL NO

And you would ask why? Some would say that I have a cozy life in the US. Some would say, I have deep connection in the US, including family. All of that is correct but does not pin point the reason why I wont start a company in India.

The real reason is Babu. Unlike, many In India who think competing for 1000 seats using some bullshit essay writing contest makes Babu some wizard, I have not come across one, I will hire as an analyst. Under no circumstance, I am gonna report to a babu (Happy report to Dharmendra Pradhan or Smriti Irani though). Also, under no circumstances, I will accept a position where I am unable to fire and put an IAS in jail if they reported to me and indulged in some corruption.

Till this babu problem is fixed, no NRI would come to India. If I were the CIA or CCP, trying to ensure that India does not gain AI independence, I would make every effort to protect Babu fiefdom.

एक गाँव में वर्मॉक्स (Vermox):पेट के कीड़े मारने की दवा बहुत ज़्यादा बिकने लगी।पूरे ज़िले जितनी दवा सिर्फ उसी एक गाँव में बिक रही थी।

दवा बनाने वाली कंपनी भी हैरान रह गई।कंपनी के एमडी ने खुद गाँव जाने का फैसला किया।

मुसीबतें झेलकर,धक्के खाकर,गर्मी में उस रेगिस्तानी गाँव पहुँचे तो पता चला वहाँ कोई डॉक्टर नहीं है,बस एक ही झोलाछाप (अताई) हकीम है, जो कहीं डॉक्टर के पास रहकर यहाँ प्रैक्टिस करने लगा था।

��ंपनी के आदमी ने अपना परिचय दिया और आने की वजह बताई तो उस अताई ने उसे वहीं चुपचाप बैठने को कहा और मरीज देखने शुरू कर दिए।

पहला मरीज आया:
��कल बासी रोटी खा ली थी, अब पेट में दर्द है।”

अताई ने नुस्खे में वर्मॉक्स लिखी और भेज दिया।

दूसरा आदमी चोट खाकर आया:
“खजूर के पेड़ पर चढ़ा था, गिर गया।” अताई ने उसे भी वर्मॉक्स लिख दी।

तीसरा आदमी नाक पर चोट के साथ आया:
“भैंस का दूध निकाल रहा था, उसने लात मार दी।”
उसे भी वर्मॉक्स दे दी।

कंपनी का एमडी बोल पड़ा:
“इन सबको वर्मॉक्स की क्या ज़रूरत थी?”

अताई बोला:
“पहले वाले को कीड़ा था, तभी तो उसने बासी रोटी खाई।दूसरे को कीड़ा था, तभी तो खजूर के पेड़ पर चढ़ा।तीसरे को भी कीड़ा था, तभी तो भैंस की टांग के पास जा बैठा।मतलब यहाँ हर किसी को ‘कीड़ा’ ही है, जो हर बीमारी की जड़ है।”

एमडी चुपचाप उठकर जाने लगा,तो अताई ने एक पर्ची पर “वर्मॉक्स” लिखकर उसके हाथ में भी थमा दी।

एमडी बोला: “अरे! मुझे क्यों?”

अताई हँसकर बोला:
“भाई, तुम्हारी दवा तो अच्छे-खासे बिक रही थी, तुम्हें तो आराम से बैठन��� चाहिए था लेकिन तुम्हें भी ‘कीड़ा’ था जो तुम्हें चैन से बैठने नहीं दे रहा था,इतनी तकलीफ उठाकर इतने दूर गाँव तक खींच लाया!”

भाजप्पा के साथ भी सब बढ़िया चल रहा था। हज़ारों लोग मुफ़्त में डिफेंड कर रहे थे। लगातार जीत रहे थे।

लेकिन नहीं- सुलेमानी कीड़ा जो ना कराए वो कम है।

यूजीसी से ग्रसित हो वर्मॉक्स की दरकार लिए अब घूम रहे है!

सुनील ग्रोवर ने कॉमेडी में मिमिक्री सेक्शन में पीक डिटेलिंग फार्मूला अपना लिया है। किसी भी लीजेंड को प्रस्तुत करते है तो उनकी सिर्फ वॉइस ही नहीं बल्कि गेटअप भी डेप्ट में लेते है। और दर्शक भी बढ़िया कनेक्ट करते है।

चेतक स्क्रीन अवॉर्ड्स के विज्ञापन के लिए उत्पल दत्त और अमोल पालेकर की गोलमाल का इंटरव्यू सीक्वेंस को रिक्रिएट किया है और कतई शानदार है।
हालांकि अवॉर्ड् आयोजकों का बजट कम था इसलिए सुनील ग्रोवर का मेकअप सस्ता लगा। किंतु डिटेलिंग में कोई कमी न थी।

टेलीविजन अवार्ड शो में सुनील ग्रोवर की डिमांड बढ़ जाएगी। क्योंकि टीआरपी और एंटरटेनमेंट का संगम है।
