Either someone has had a word with Simon or hes had an epiphany, because this is nail on the head stuff. And tbh its what lots of us have been saying for years now.
I’m not a Man City fan but I do think it’s laughable that the clubs behind the super league Arsenal, Man U & Liverpool want City kicked out the PL when their clubs should’ve been after their owners tried to destroy it. It’s yanks not the Arabs ruining football here #NUFC
This Japanese Newcastle fan explaining that he started supporting them because Alan Pardew headbutted someone during one of the first Newcastle games he ever watched…
Brilliant! 🤣👊🇯🇵
Getting a lot of Manchester United fans in the mentions today lecturing about money, so here's a quick history lesson.
Albert Quixall 1958, British record. Denis Law 1962, British record. Gordon McQueen 1978, British record. Bryan Robson 1981, British record, two years after the first ever £1m transfer in this country. Pallister 1989, record fee for a defender. Keane 1993, British record. Andy Cole 1995, British record, bought off US in January to stop us winning the league. Van Nistelrooy AND Veron in 2001, two British records in one year. Ferdinand 2002, world record for a defender. Di Maria 2014, British record. Pogba 2016, world record on the entire planet. Maguire 2019, world record for a defender AGAIN.
For sixty years, when United wanted a player, the price went up for everyone else. They've broken the British transfer record more than any club in history.
Since Ferguson left: £1.43 BILLION spent. Zero titles. Net debt over a billion dollars, and their owners' takeover model has since been banned by the Premier League for loading debt onto clubs.
Lads, Man city have broke the rules, but lets not pretend you're not the moral guardians of football finance. 🖤🤍

@PrestwichBlue@_iindyBu Thought for the day happy Sunday xx🩵🩵
If City are proved guilty of having broken rules that means they’re guilty of having spent as much on players as Manchester United, against the rules designed to stop that.
If that’s the case City deserve to be penalised appropriately
Interesting times at @ManCity who have almost no debt, have poured hundreds of millions into regenerating their local area and have the best youth system in the country so they must be punished by the PL.
@ManUtd sacked half their employees , racked up a £1 billion + debt , funnelled their profits to the Cayman Islands and get to set the PL spending rules.
Funny old game as Greavsie used to say.
🚨🇸🇪 Zlatan Ibrahimović on Premier League clubs celebrating Manchester City’s 115 charges:
🗣️ Zlatan: “I don’t blame them for celebrating these charges. (laughs) We are talking about a club that has traumatized almost every other club in this league for years. Pep came to the Premier League hearing everyone say it’s the most difficult league in the world, then he came and farmed the league like it was a Division Two league.
“He exposed them. He dominated them for years. So if they can’t win against Manchester City on the pitch, I understand why they are celebrating what is happening off it.
“But now they talk as if these charges were the reason Manchester City dominated. Like that was the main tactic City came with onto the pitch. Forgetting the beautiful football they played, how they controlled games and how they actually won those trophies.
“You can celebrate the charges, you can talk about them, you can wait for the verdict. But don’t rewrite football history. Manchester City dominated on the pitch. That is why they won all those trophies.”
🚨🎙️ Kevin De Bruyne on reports concerning Manchester City: 🔵💙
“Honestly, it would be very strange to hear something like that. Manchester City gave me some of the greatest memories of my career, and I know how much hard work, sacrifice and dedication went into everything we achieved together.
“I understand there is a process that has to be followed, and the club will have the opportunity to defend itself. I would encourage every City fan to stay calm, stay strong and continue believing in the club. There is still a process to go through.
“Manchester City has overcome difficult moments before, and this is another moment where everyone connected with the club needs to stand together. The fans have always been an important part of this club, and their support can make a difference.
“I will always have love and respect for Manchester City and its supporters. Whatever happens, don’t lose hope. Keep believing in your club, keep supporting the team, and let the proper process take its course.” 🔵💙
Andy Robertson: “For me, the #ManCity players showed they were good enough on the pitch.
I don’t know too much about the charges and stuff like that. But they had an incredible team, one that I loved battling against.
I don’t think when it comes to these things that players are ever to blame. That’s all I can focus on.”

Man United is selling 7cm cubes of its Old Trafford pitch to fans for £125 each – the turf is very high quality, due to being covered with manure for the last 10 years
🚨🎙️ | Eric Cantona when asked whether he would’ve signed for Manchester United as a player under Sir Jim Ratcliffe:
“Of course not! You know what I think about all of this [about immigration], with this kind of politics.
“I CANNOT understand that someone like this can say something like THAT when he's one of the owners of the club.”

🚨🚨🗣️ Gary Lineker:
“I look at Manchester United and I see that the problems, it’s that thing coming down from the TOP. I must say, I must congratulate the Glazers on finding someone even WORSE than them, that they can blame and getting him in there and getting all the stick, Jim Ratcliffe.
“I don’t think he’s [Ratcliffe] a particularly pleasant human being. It’s a bit of a SHAMBLES of a football club the way it’s been run at the moment.
“So, yeah, well done the Glazers for that one, deflecting everything away from them. But it is a MESS, that club.”

Rumors said Kurt Cobain was too sick, or too far gone, to play Reading in 1992. So he was wheeled onstage in a hospital gown, "collapsed," then stood up and tore through the set.
Here's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" from that night.
Because President Trump banned the press pool, there was no audio recorded for his new helipad grand opening - and a unnamed NEWSMAX employee took the opportunity to hijack the closed captioning scroll.
