Centre has made around 23,000 CAPF personnel available to Delhi Police from October 8–12, ahead of protests planned from October 10.

The deployment includes 85 additional CRPF companies, along with personnel from SSB, RAF, ITBP and CISF.

🚨 BIG CLAIM, BIGGER FACT-CHECK: Rahul Gandhi says 300 MPs joined his protest demanding CEC Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation.

But the numbers don’t add up. The entire 19-party INDIA bloc has around 240 MPs in Lok Sabha + Rajya Sabha. Even adding BJD’s 5 Rajya Sabha MPs takes it to only ~245.

Rahul Gandhi has been raising SIR and voter-list irregularities for nearly a year, but critics say he is now copying Abhijeet Dipke’s campaign, slogans and style after the latter’s protests gained attention.

During the protest, Rahul Gandhi also clashed with a journalist, accusing him of speaking like a BJP supporter when asked questions he did not like.
