@tdinh_me Same experience. The agents that overengineer are the ones trying to prove they read everything — 20 nitpicks flagged, and they miss the one business rule that actually matters. I'll take a reviewer that catches the real bug over one that lint-storms my PR any day.
@thepatwalls@pmarca "The real winners get built one layer up" is the line I'd tattoo on every app founder. The dot-com pop didn't kill the web, it cleared the tourists and the people shipping real utility compounded right through it. Betting AI rhymes: froth clears, builders barely feel the pop.
@dvassallo "Checklist, not a wall of logs" is the whole philosophy right there. As an app dev I've learned the tools that win aren't the most powerful — they're the ones that respect your attention during setup. A quiet install is a feature, not a nicety.
@arvidkahl The fact that you just publish the raw ecosystem numbers is underrated. As a bootstrapper I've found sharing real data — even the unglamorous slices — builds way more trust than any polished launch. People can smell a rounded-up vanity metric a mile away.
@benjaminsehl As an app dev, this cuts both ways. Theme app extensions only work when the theme stays legible — when a merchant can read their own Liquid, they'll drop our blocks in without fear of breaking things. Readable code lowers the trust cost of every integration.
@harleyf@Shopify@kinngh@liam_at_shopify As a Shopify app dev, this community is the reason I keep building. People answering each other's questions in the dev forums at 2am for strangers, no ask attached. That give-a-shit culture is Shopify's real moat.
@uvkewate Will do 🙌 The no-cut-on-payouts model is exactly what makes it worth a look — running affiliates for Stok & Quantity Limit is on my list. Appreciate the nudge, Yuvraj.
A small number, but a real one 👇
Last 2 weeks: 3,087 orders (5,997 units) passed through a quantity rule at checkout — across 42 stores, 6 currencies, Japan to Argentina.
Enforced via Shopify Functions. That's Quantity Limit.

@faridmovsumov Real App Store search volume beats vibes-based ASO every time — naming and positioning a Shopify app is mostly guesswork without it. This is genuinely useful. Nice ship, Farid 👏
0 → 400 Shopify stores on our app. 🎉
The part nobody warns you about: the growth line stays flat way longer than feels reasonable. For months it barely moves. You question everything. Then it bends.
If you're stuck in the flat part right now — that's not failure, it's the setup.
Keep shipping. 🛠️
