Thanks so much to all those sending me personal messages of solidarity & support, much appreciated. In case you missed my statement earlier this week here it is again: "Labour’s Worcester MP candidate Mandy Richards breaks silence over newspaper reports" https://t.co/QpJmwbQx18
London belongs to Arsenal today.
Over 1 million Gunners are out celebrating, turning the trophy parade into the biggest football parade the city has ever seen.
I got trapped for hours trying to get home 😂
But honestly it was worth it.
Amazing mood at the Arsenal parade.
An example of the diversity that the haters want to destroy
@lisanandy on @bbclaurak: I feel it deeply, personally and painfully…people want more urgent, bolder, bigger, far more fundamental changes in their lives….they want us on the pitch fighting harder, speaking louder, doing more!

Because of Andy’s record as Mayor people who didn’t vote for us last week said they would vote for us again. He won every single ward in Makerfield, even when Labour hasn’t,that’s why he is a really important voice that needs to be heard loud & clear at the centre of Westminster!

Great to meet my old PE teacher, the legend that is Mr O’D, whilst campaigning in Ashton.
Once told me I couldn’t play football for the school amymore if I didn’t play rugby league as I wasn’t tough enough.
Sound advice which will stand me in good stead in this campaign! 💪🏻
Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham has set out his views on Labour's path forward and the policy challenges facing the country.
Speaking to Channel 4 News' Andrew Misra, Burnham said he wanted Labour to become “a party that they can believe in again, a party solidly on the side of working class people.”
🔴 @AndyBurnhamGM on BBC today:
“I think Britain has been on the wrong path for 40 years.”
👍 It started with de-industrialisation, bus deregulation, and the privatisation of life’s essentials.
👏 We need to… get the basics back under public control so that people can afford their rent, their energy bills, etc.
🙌 He wants Labour to “change and once again [be] the party that people in this borough knew… I don’t blame anybody who has gone away and voted for other parties. I want them to regain their trust… I want Labour solidly to become a working class community.”

Good to be out on the doors in Winstanley today and lovely to see some good friends come over to help.
Life has been too tough for people in this borough for too long, but we are determined to turn this around.
heathcliff is a racial other and this is central to the emotional and thematic center of wuthering heights, it’s in the very language of the story: nature/culture, dark/light, hell/heaven. the passionate love is predicated upon heathcliff and cathy’s shared otherness. wrap it up.
