What kind of dystopian, backwards world do we live in where energy suppliers have record profits but somehow need help to recover unpaid bills?
And somehow the solution to that is to raise everyone’s bills?!
A trans creator was run out of the hobby by the same kind of harassment from the 40k community. Things might be worse.
And yet people will still say 40k doesn't have a major transphobia problem within it's community.
Me: "You accept that you [Israel] have killed children [in Gaza]? Or do you deny that?"
Netanyahu adviser Mark Regev: "No, I do not. First of all, you don't know how those people died, those children."
Me: "Oh wow."
Thank god we left the EU behind so that we didn’t have anymore unelected bureaucrats.
Anyway, in unrelated news, did you hear about David Cameron being added to a cabinet position? I must have missed that by-election.
@LostPixelPlays We know we’re in the multiverse saga but none of the films feel connected, and Quantumania just did a bad job of building up and explaining the threat.
Previously, almost every film involved an infinity stone, and it all felt like a series. Now it all just feels disconnected.
@LostPixelPlays I’m not sure I buy the argument that there’s too much to keep up with, there’s only 1 series running at a time, usually with around 10 episodes, and one movie every few months.
I think the real issue is that none of the movies really feel like they’re building to anything
“Israel isn’t occupying Gaza they just entirely control their water, fuel, food, electricity, imports, exports, fishing rights, and all human movement inside and out of the territory and encircle it militarily” ah ok, sorry, we wouldn’t want to give anyone the wrong impression
I’ll be voting for labour because I think it’s the only option for a party that might help out those in need but don’t be confused, Starmer is a snake who will bend and twist his morals to win the election, what he actually stands for we will only find out after he is elected.
This is a straightforward lie from Keir Starmer.
Starmer was asked if a siege was 'appropriate, cutting off power, cutting off water?'
Starmer answered: "I think that Israel does have that right."
He spoke about international law, but only to expose he didn't understand it.
About the #Gaza#hospital blast,
The version saying it would have been caused by Palestinian rocket (mis)fire is gaining traction online and among #OSINT communities.
A thread showing weaknesses in this version, and why an Israeli bombing is highly more plausible.⬇️ 1/x
Misinformation to spread, so I’m sharing this post which goes fairly in depth analysing the available information.
This whole situation is awful and should end sooner rather than later without persecution and punishment of innocent Palestinian civilians.
Yesterday I shared some posts due to what appeared to be an Israeli air strike on a hospital, it now appears that those posts were not accurate and that the images mostly showed a fire a car park.
There are enough bad things happening to the people in Gaza without allowing
Hundreds dead after a hospital bombed. We were told many were too ill to move. And yet it was still targeted.
Our govt should be facilitating a de-escalation of this conflict, not blocking it.
Israeli air strikes have hit Al Ahli hospital in Gaza. More than 500 people - patients, doctors & those sheltering - have been killed.
What unspeakable horror. We will mourn their loss forever.
Our leaders could have spoken up for peace. They chose to cheer on war instead.
When will they demand an end to these atrocious war crimes? How many Palestinian lives will it take to call for these indiscriminate killings to stop?
Please, for the sake of humanity, raise your voice for an immediate ceasefire. The existence of the Palestinian people is at stake.
Some of the clearest/most meaningful pushback on the framing of Palestinians as literal Nazis and politicians’ appalling misuse of the Holocaust to justify genocide comes from Jewish Israeli scholars. I have to assume this garners significant personal attack. Yet they persist.
Yes, Hamas was elected into power...
But the last election in Palestine was in 2007
16 years ago
They won power with 44% of the vote.
I say again, people are not their Governments
...least of all, children.
