@GovernorShapiro and L&I Secretary Nancy A. Walker stopped by Overlook Park in @ManheimTwp, Lancaster County, to visit high school students gaining real-world job experience through the @PA_OVR MY Work program.

All summer long, these students have been rolling up their sleeves – mulching, cleaning up debris, and keeping parks looking beautiful.

This program gives students with disabilities the chance to earn a paycheck while building skills and giving back to their communities.

The Manheim Township Board of Commissioners has launched an independent investigation and moved to end Chief Duane Fisher’s contract following the April 30 incident.

2025 Paving will begin in late July and August. Each year, Manheim Township repaves the roads most in need of repair to ensure safe and smooth travel for all.

Starting this week, we will be regularly sweeping Township roads with our new Elgin RegenX Street sweeper.

Investing in our own street sweeper and year-round maintenance will keep our roads clean and prevent debris from entering our waterways.

.@cityoflancaster is planning on completing roadway base repairs on Marshall Avenue between Lititz Pike (S.R. 501) & Stadium Road starting on Monday April 7, with work expected to last the entire week. Two lanes of traffic are expected to be maintained during this project.
