He assembled an AI cluster of four Framework Desktops, installed them in a compact server rack, connected them via 5Gb Ethernet, and automated everything with Ansible.

The entire system cost about $3,000.

He didn’t buy expensive server hardware to cool the cluster.

Instead, he used a single, powerful 12-volt fan with adjustable power, enough to power all the nodes.

Now he can locally run large language models, test them, conduct benchmarks and develop his own AI projects, on which he already earns up to $5,000 per month

Yes, it’s not cheap.

But for a person who works with AI every day, such a system can pay for itself much faster than it seems.

Sometimes the most valuable investment is not the hardware itself.

But the freedom to run any model when it is needed.
