I like learning from videos, but like many others, I don't have much spare time.
I got tired of trying to watch YouTube vids at 2x speed, hunting for the useful bits.
So I built VideoAskable: paste a link, ask a question, jump to the answer.
Try it: https://t.co/RuvF2RzW0T
Always excited to see great app ideas from fellow indie devs, like Fledly, which helps you see how existing apps are doing.
Most of my ideas start from my own problems, but I always try to check if others have them too, so this seems handy for gauging market need!
@adeiji1 I'm also looking for ways to make app marketing less time-consuming ๐ With MarketMee, can I choose which changes become posts and review the wording first? I'd want to keep my own voice and leave out routine bug fixes.
@andrewl746 I'd be curious whether Nebulosity's map also helps Claude Code make fewer mistakes, or mainly find the right files faster. Have you compared the accuracy of the answers as well as the speed?
@mikawuf I think you've got a great app idea there! I'm also constantly looking for ways we indie devs can improve, and a big part of that is figuring out which app ideas are actually worth building, which is exactly what your app helps with๐ช
I'm curious about ways for coding agents to check their work beyond tests.
I recently came across formal verification with Rocq, which looks really interesting for checking code correctness in apps.
Has anyone tried this in a real project?

@NicolasZu For the series, I would be curious to see how you decide an agent's change is ready to merge. What can the harness check on its own, and what do you still review yourself before it reaches players?
@alexworks What's your take on the consistency and quality of the content the agents produce on their own? I always feel AI content can lose a bit of that human voice or become inconsistent across multiple videos.
Or maybe that's exactly what you're tweaking atm?
@eandualem I would be curious to see how the system works in practice, how much time it saves, and what parts of a typical Codex or Claude Code workflow it simplifies or eliminates.
@himanxu0 Great point ๐ My ideas start from my own problems, but I always try to gauge whether there's a real market need. If a quick MVP gets no traction, I kill the product and move on instead of wasting more time on it.
Open to connect if you'd like ๐
Here's how my app, VideoAskable, works with Kevin Stratvert's Codex tutorial: get a summary with timestamps, then use Ask more to ask a follow-up about Skills.
Feel free to give it a try! https://t.co/RuvF2Rzobl
