Regarding the National Medical Commission's new rules, specifically rules 7.7 and 11.2.7, students of the 1st-year MBBS 2020 batch have been protesting to have the rule that imposes restrictions on the number of attempts deleted or to be granted an extra attempt. It appears that the students have been facing genuine issues with the hectic schedule and the overall syllabus. I urge the Honorable Health Minister, @mansukhmandviya Ji, to look into this matter.
Met with the delegation of MBBS students today. They have concerns about Rule 7.7 and 11.2.7 introduced by the National Medical Commission, restricting attempts to 4 for 1st year MBBS students of the 2020 batch. Attached are their demands. 📋
Requesting @mansukhmandviya Ji, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, to kindly consider their plea and take necessary action.
