@CraigSheph3rd@SteveMascord Why are people bothered by attendance figures. Some heartland clubs have been rooted in the towns for over a century and yet see breaking 10k as an achievement. It’s embarsssing
@cockwomble12@CaptainChaos5@SteveMascord Well, because it’s in the heartlands and in the doorstep - and after years of being told that these M62 Brexity diehard types back the game from cradle to grave….im expecting the final to be +45,000 in total.
@andrewfoster101@SteveMascord Exactly. A major blind spots that northern fans don’t and can’t comprehend. We don’t live within 5k of the home ground. Travel 5k in London is like Salford to Hull. They just see a population of +10m and wonder why we get 2.5k.
Our demographics and logistics are comparable
@Emilyaustin I disagree with this statement because I think you’ll find that amongst the myriad of sporting endeavours across the globe, other sports have regional prominence greater than what you have said!
So Soccer is not the most popular sport…Football is! 😜
@SteveMascord Would it? In all probability from about February, the RFL knew that Bronx would be a fair bet as one of the finalists. If the venue has been announced months ago, then no complaints. But doing it once you knew Widnes were there, not a good look
@Hendondave@SteveMascord If they don’t bring more than 7k, the “well supported/M62 rules/game should remain in the heartlands/anti-expansion” arguements get shot to pieces. This is the chance for those fans to put their money where their mouth is.
We await.
