@HarveenChadha I'm actually in awe of these OCRs, Even I find it difficult to read all of the text properly, seeing these models capture all of the equations and cursive letters is pretty amazing!
Training GPT3 consumed ~1300 MWh of electricity that's enough to power roughly 120 homes a year.
Meanwhile a child is capable of learning language naturally on just ~20 watts, the energy of a dim light bulb!
The more I learn ML , the more I admire the beauty of human brain.
Immense amount of time and energy goes into training models, and brain does most of these tasks effortlessly.
It really makes me wonder, are we here by chance or by design?
