No matter you hear or not. They continue to raise their voice seeking justice. Manipur is in turmoil since May 3, 2023. As many as 260 civilians has lost their lives, more than 60000 citizens are languishing in relief camps. Theirs houses has been burnt down. Some houses were leveled to ground. What is happening in the state of Manipur is not merely a conflict between communities. Its turning into most gruesome crime against humanity. Complete failure of state machinary.

Retaliation by Kuki narco-terrorists is something that I have feared. I hope the security forces do have a contingency plan to curb/negate retaliatory operations by the heavily armed Kuki terrorists and ensure the safe return of the hostages abducted by Kukis during yesterday's encounter. Kukis have been targetting children and women folk from the Meitei community. The Meitei volunteers should be on alert for imminent ambushes on the community by the Kukis. The Meitei civilians, especially those residing in areas close to Kuki settlements or adjoining hills, should be vigilant of their own safety.
