After experiencing all of this firsthand, it became clear why we - as the main roster – chose to step away from ERA Esports.
Consistency without structure, expectations without foundations, and decisions without logic don’t build a Tier 2 project they dismantle it from within.
We joined with ambition, professionalism, and long-term goals.
But you can’t build stability in an environment where accountability is optional, legal clarity is “future plans,” and roster management changes direction every 24 hours.
At some point, players must prioritize their careers over someone else’s ego.
That is why we walked away not out of conflict, but out of self-respect and realism.
When professionalism becomes optional, progression becomes impossible.
Sometimes the smartest move is simply stepping out of the circus
•Leadership:
The leadership of ERA Esport represents an astonishingly unique approach: authority is built not on results but on volume. Decision-making is driven by emotion, blame replaces accountability, and player movement resembles a rotational sport more than stable team-building. It is inspiring to see how authoritarianism can function purely on confidence-even when experience, structured thinking, or professional background are missing.
•Budget:
The project’s financing is the peak of creative resource management: building maximum ambition from minimal investment modern miracle engineering at its finest. The “we’ll solve it cheaply” philosophy is especially thrilling when aiming for Tier 2 goals: reality takes on an entirely new meaning when the budget resembles pocket money. In place of a stable foundation remains optimism, which exists primarily in the realm of communication.
•Legality:
The organization’s structure interprets legal frameworks very flexibly: expectations without contracts, demands without obligations, and the pursuit of loopholes are presented as innovative and highly modern solutions. Structure becomes a hypothetical concept, built not on documents but on faith and verbal promises.
•Management:
The management style undeniably represents a radically new perspective: instead of professional experience, AI-generated content and improvised decisions shape operations. The selection of the coach is exemplary it is rare to see someone so boldly embrace the idea that professional level does not necessarily need to exceed that of the players. Problem-solving is often replaced by offended tone and loud responses.
•Mindset:
Ambition is enormous, while reality is an adjustable notion. Self-image is confident and positioning remarkable: ERA continually compares itself to teams that have already proven themselves and that operate with real infrastructure and professional support. Such self-evaluation demonstrates truly enviable psychological stability.
•Player relations:
The relationship with players is exemplary in demonstrating how quickly somebody can be motivated to leave. Communication is authoritarian, feedback is condescending in tone, and conflict management resembles a show of force more than cooperation. Player retention thus becomes a real challenge often resolved by replacing the entire roster.
•Final picture:
ERA Esport is a unique phenomenon: the meeting point of a young owner’s ambition, an airy/loosely defined legal structure, a minimal budget, AI-based communication and authoritarian management. It is a highly instructive experiment in how to appear professional without real professionalism behind it.
