Vitamin D is misnamed. It's a hormone the body makes from cholesterol when sunlight hits the skin.

Out of 5,500 health care providers that needed to be reevaluated in Minnesota over fraud concerns, only 1,000 have passed

- The federal government withheld $2 billion in Medicaid funding to Minnesota because of fraud concerns
1 The state launched a revalidation campaign to get it back
- They had to check on about 5,500 providers in 13 high-risk programs over 5 months
- As of last Wednesday, only about 1,000 had passed

Now some of this could be delays, but we all know it’s definitely mostly because of fraud and they no longer qualify

This is my property tax bill for the last 17 years. The orange line is the school tax component of my bill, and it's gone up dramatically in the last 2 years. Meanwhile my county has done a great job of keeping annual spending under control.

Danielle Smith herself told us why. Immigration into Alberta is out-of-control, and we have to build a lot of new schools to keep up.

Immigration is a burden on all of us. Why do we have to build new schools for all the new arrivals?

The mayor of Calgary (below) and those of every municipality in Alberta have every right to be upset. Smith is passing on big tax increases on their backs. They're the ones taking the heat for her excessive spending.

Canada paid $24 million to help a Chinese company make baby formula and ship 85% of it to China.

The Canada Royal Milk story has layers.

Layer 1: a Chinese dairy giant built Canada's largest infant formula plant in Kingston Ontario.

Layer 2: Canadian taxpayers contributed at least $24 million to the project.

Layer 3: early planning documents show 85% of production was intended for export to China from day one.

Layer 4: it used supply-managed Canadian milk priced and controlled to protect Canadian food sovereignty.

Layer 5: supply management advocates defend this system against American trade pressure every CUSMA cycle.

Layer 6: supply management is a major trade irritant cited in the CUSMA negotiations.

Bottom line: the system designed to keep Americans out subsidized Chinese exports.

If you were the Americans at the negotiating table, wouldn’t this make you furious?

And as a Canadian, doesn’t it anger you that we ship baby formula made with Canadian milk out of the country while parents here face sky-high prices and shortages?
